This is the first time I have been to Israel and was not sure about going, but my son really wanted to visit and talked me into it. I need not have had any worries as we had the best time! The staff at elmina was lovely and friendly, the hotel was so cleaned, our rooms were cleaned everyday, credit to the cleaners, the owner of the hotel, think he was the owner, always had a smile and all staff were very friendly, loved every minute, Tel Aviv was so lovely and the food was wonderful. We will be back to visit again

We really loved our stay at Elmina Hotel Jaffa! The rooms are nice and are clean, there is a cute little rooftop terrace and the location is great. The best part of the hotel are the staff - - they are friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with anything. We would highly recommend this hotel :)

The staff were friendly and helpful. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere was relaxed and you know that the staff will do what they can to help you out- which made our stay that bit more enjoyable. The rooms were nicely presented and comfortable, and we were upgraded too which was fantastic. I loved the cake and sweets in reception and you can even help yourself to a beer from the fridge. The location is great and although it is central to Jaffa, the street is quiet and accessible to south Tel Aviv. The building has been restored well and has lots of charm.

Love this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't say enough how exceptional the hotel staff was. The location is great. Restaurants and beaches within minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

The website pics are abit misleading in it is much smaller than depicted. Stairs can be an issue with a lot of people, front door can be abit of a pain coming in or out. And was abit aggravated that the rooftop setting was not open as we had been told it would be at 5p.m. Granted it was Ramadan/Passover. Still it has its charm, and our room had one of the best showers on our whole trip.

We had a brilliant time at Elmina. This is really the kind of hospitality a guest could wish for. The bed was a dream and the view from the roof terrace to the sea. We were happy to overlook the small deficiencies, because everyone in the hotel was friendly and always ready to help. Thank you for everything!

Highly recommended Hotel from our side.. I stayed there a few days ago with a friend. Arie the owner and the whole staff are really very good hosts. They maintained us in every thing. The hotel is very good located, near the fleet market, near the seaside and you can do everything without needing a bus or what else. I had physical problems and the owner went with me to a farmarcy. I thank him a lot for that. The rooms in the hotel are very nice, a very comfortable mattress, a nice room. With a coffee machine. In the lobby you get coffee, tea, cakes for free. Any help you need - you will get it. I can highly recommend Elmina Hotel and whenever Tel Aviv again, I would stay there.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked at Elmina, but after staying there I highly recommend it. Perfectly situated to tour Jaffa on foot, gorgeous views nearby, convenient to shopping and good food, but most of all the staff were so friendly and helpful--Arie and Jenna were fantastic! They also served good coffee and quality baked snacks in the lobby which is an easy way to make guests feel welcome. When I return to Tel Aviv I'll definitely stay at Elmina again.

Our room was beautiful, but 2 flights up (no elevator.) The 2 owners were not in sync; they seem new to this business, but they are trying hard to please. Location is excellent.
