What is the experience of a five-star hotel without heating on a day of 10 degrees to 8 degrees? It really happened to me, and it was a Sofitel. Anyway, I caught a cold directly on the second day after staying, and the windows were closed tightly. The equipment Everything else is nonsense. I complained to the front desk the next day. Anyway, the attitude was very sincere, but the problem had occurred and the facilities were very backward. The front desk service was very enthusiastic and communicated with me from the perspective of the guest. Anyway, it is a five-star hotel in Paris. It's really hard to describe

The hotel was very comfortable. I chose this hotel because of its location, size, cleanliness, and classic interior. First of all, the location was quiet, even though it was close to Avenue Montaigne. Of course, it was clean. The interior was wonderful, and as an interior lover like me, I learned a lot about the use of fabrics. The bedding was so comfortable that I bought the same pillow and comforter at a department store in Paris before returning home. The staff were all cheerful and kind, and I never had a bad experience. When I was leaving, my bag with my bedding in it broke, so the staff worked hard to reinforce it with duct tape. I'm very grateful! I think that the impression of a trip is determined by the hotel, the food, and the people you meet. I highly recommend this hotel.

The service staff is warm and friendly, which makes people feel warm. 3 In addition, the breakfast in the hotel restaurant is also very rich 🍽, there are many choices, I am very satisfied with the food! The atmosphere is wonderful, from the lobby to the restaurant and guest rooms. True to its heritage, each and every detail is exquisite, reflecting the charm of a traditional French hotel. From the pool to the gym and sauna, there was nothing I didn't like. The bed was a bit squishy, which was a bit uncomfortable for me, but the bedding was excellent. The location is second to none.

The hotel itself is located in a very good area. Unfortunately, the room assigned to me was directly next to the bar, where there was a party on the same night. Although I am a young traveler, I still needed a good night’s sleep, which was not possible due to the noise. The room was very basic, with limited amenities, and did not meet expectations. Additionally, the service was not up to standard. I had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes to check in, as the staff member handling the transition between shifts did not seem to notice or prioritize new arriving guests. Overall, the level of professionalism was disappointing.

The room was clean and the cleaning staff were excellent. My only issue was that hotel guests have to pay a 50 euro entrance fee to access the rooftop bar. While the two complimentary drinks were nice, the hotel should differentiate between guests and outside visitors. I specifically booked this hotel for the rooftop night view, and for me, the location was quite out of the way.

Overall, for a hotel in Paris, this one offers good value for money. Although it's located in the 12th arrondissement, which is a bit suburban, the proximity to the metro station makes it very convenient. It's only two stops to the famous Châtelet station. The room wasn't small either. It seems like many Accor brand hotels are in this area. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. However, finding a laundromat was really difficult and far – you'd probably need an electric scooter to get to a residential area about 2 kilometers away. What's highly recommended is their gym. It occupies the entire basement level and even offers free apples for an energy boost. There's a wide variety of equipment, and the dumbbells come in a full range of weights, including heavy ones. There are also different small rooms for individual workouts, along with separate restrooms and shower rooms. My biggest disappointment was their breakfast. Even though the ingredients seemed high-quality and possibly organic, paying nearly 200 RMB per person and not finding anything that suited a Chinese palate and was healthy was frustrating. There were no leafy green vegetables, just some very basic, raw cabbage hearts. Some of the cold cuts were surprisingly unappetizing. The staff also seemed very rushed. I only found out after leaving that you could ask a server for coffee. The only thing I'd recommend is the freshly made omelets – bring your own vegetables to get enough protein. Taste-wise, it was honestly not as good as Hampton by Hilton. Another overall impression is that hotels in France don't have the same warmth as those in Belgium, and the English proficiency was slightly inferior. Don't even expect any Chinese-speaking staff.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a short walk to both M6 and C metro lines, which take you directly to Versailles Palace and Notre Dame. Plus, the Eiffel Tower is right next to the hotel, so we got to see it every day coming in and out. We arrived around 10 AM, and after becoming members, they allowed us to check in early. The room size was decent, with enough space to fully open two suitcases. Housekeeping was good; the room was cleaned daily, and hygiene was well-maintained. However, the toiletries were quite disappointing and stingy. There were no slippers, and the shower gel and shampoo were a 3-in-1 product. The drinking cups and mouthwash cups were small disposable paper cups. While the mouthwash cups were replaced daily for a while, we stayed four nights, and by the last day, they were unusable and weren't replaced with new ones after being taken away. Tissues weren't replenished daily either; we had one box for the entire stay, which ran out on the last night. These small details were quite frustrating. Also, they don't provide complimentary bottled water in the room, but there's a free water dispenser in the lobby where you can refill as many times as you like. These are things future guests should be aware of before booking.

The hotel was exactly what you'd expect from a palace. This was my third time in Paris, and this time my main goal was to stay in a wonderful hotel. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Elysia by Inwood Hotels in Paris, and it truly exceeded expectations in every way. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the iconic Champs-Élysées and other major attractions. Whether you’re in Paris for business or leisure, the central location makes it incredibly convenient to explore the city’s beauty and charm. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches that enhanced the overall comfort. The high ceilings and classic Parisian design created a luxurious ambiance, and I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful stay. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive, with fresh pastries, fruit, and hot selections served in a beautifully designed dining area. It was the perfect way to start each day. The service throughout my stay was warm, attentive, and professional. From check-in to check-out, the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Next to Concorde Square, shopping is very convenient. We arrived in Paris in the early morning. The hotel is good, check in early for us. The downside is that the hotel is a bit old and the rooms are a bit small. Adding 2,500 yuan per night to upgrade to the suite is much more comfortable and the view is good. Clean and modern facility. Spacious and clean room. Good location, close to the metro station and in a quiet area. In room 003, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very uncomfortable and small. In the bathroom, the shower was closed with a curtain, risking flooding! We used the spa, which has well-maintained facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we needed help because we were stuck in the elevator (the smaller one). Excellent! The location is superb, right next to Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Austerlitz. We ended up staying here because our train was cancelled. The front desk was incredibly friendly; they saw I was a Marriott Bonvoy member with two kids and proactively upgraded our room from a single king bed to one with an additional sofa bed. The breakfast spread was quite generous, but we didn't get to eat it as we were rushing for our train (we hadn't booked breakfast initially). Early in the morning, the front desk lady even offered us complimentary coffee and pastries for the kids – so nice of her! The room was spacious enough, and the bedding and design were excellent. There was also a dedicated water dispenser. The drainage in the sink and bathtub was a bit slow, but when we told the front desk, they immediately sent someone to fix it. Overall, a very good experience! Satisfied! If I ever need a Marriott near a train station again, I'd definitely choose this one – very reliable! A taxi ride to central areas like Notre Dame and the Louvre takes about 20 minutes, but I recommend using Uber as it's about a third of the price of a regular taxi!

I stayed here again. The front desk staff member was very warm and polite, and even arranged a room that exceeded my expectations – it was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, as was the linen. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toilet flush was hard to press and the water flow wasn't strong enough, and the sink tap also had low water pressure. But these minor issues didn't detract from the overall experience. The handsome front desk staff member at check-out was equally warm and polite. He even helped me call to check about storing luggage at the Louvre, and ultimately advised me that it would be safer to store it at the hotel. Breakfast seemed to have slightly declined in quality compared to before, but it was still well worth having. After exploring, I returned to the hotel to pick up my stored luggage, and the bellboy was also very nice, bidding me farewell with a 'take care!' My experience with The Peninsula Paris can be summed up in two words: a big, expensive place that bullies customers! While I didn't encounter any major issues during my five-night stay, some details didn't live up to the Peninsula brand's reputation and were far from my previous experience at The Peninsula in Tokyo. First, on my check-in day, I went to the front desk at 3:30 PM and was told my room was still being serviced and would take another 20 minutes. I understood, but the hotel didn't ask for any assistance, and I had to find a table at the bar and wait. The service took significantly longer than 20 minutes. Second, on the second day, after the room was serviced, the water wasn't replenished; we had to ask for it at the front desk. Third, starting on the third day, the restaurant was closed for an event. Not only did the hotel fail to notify guests, but the sign outside the restaurant didn't indicate where to find an alternative meal (my room included breakfast). We only learned this after we inquired at the front desk. Fourth, one evening, returning from a walk, I was stopped by the doorman, probably holding a beer I'd bought along the way, and asked if I was a guest. Furthermore, the staff's attention to personal belongings in the bathroom was not up to par with what you'd expect from a hotel of The Peninsula's caliber. When I checked out, the front desk asked about my stay as a matter of routine. I made it clear I wasn't satisfied, but they completely ignored me. A hotel as big as the Peninsula naturally wouldn't care about my opinion. All I can do is to say I definitely won't stay at the Peninsula Paris again next time I'm in Paris. (I only found one photo, of the cocktails I had at the bar while waiting for my room to be made up. It was quite good.)

Did not have any issue with the check in as I reached the hotel pretty late at 9pm. There seems to be a little misalignment/ confusion on the room type on Trip.com and the Hotel. I booked the premium Eiffel tower room but was told at the counter that what they provided wasn’t that room. However upon checking into the room, I realised that it’s the room I booked, with the Eiffel Tower view so no issues on that. Room cleanliness was decent but did not have any toothbrush. The only issue I had was that despite me hanging the do not disturb tag on the door, the staff still entered my room and clean it. There’s a reason why that tag was hanged there. This gave me a bad experience and felt unsafe, as the staff can still enter my room despite having the tag there.

Experience is what I would expect from a 2 star hotel, although the lack of air conditioning really did not help during the sudden heatwave that occured while we were there. The location of this place was its only saving grace. It is definitely one of the more affordable options in this area, with great connectivity to the metro and bus lines. Although, it is situated in a sketchy back alleyway and there is poor sound isolation from the outside. I found it hard to sleep at night and in the morning from people chatter and other noise. If I only stayed for 2 or 3 days in cooler weather, I probably wouldn't mind staying here again, just because of its excellent location. If not, there are many other hotels in this same area that I'm sure would offer a better experience, albeit at a higher price point.

The staff were warm and attentive. Room 501 was spacious, bright, comfortable, and cozy. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from Gare de l'Est, making it super easy and quick to get around by metro, train, or high-speed rail. There are also many great restaurants nearby.

The biggest advantage: convenient transportation! It's super convenient, just 100 meters walk from the subway station. Both the RER and metro are easily accessible, and you can get to the Louvre and Arc de Triomphe within 20 minutes. It's also very close to Gare de Lyon, about a 200-meter walk. Room: Similar to the standard size of an Atour Hotel in China? It's not small for Paris, but it definitely feels a bit more cramped than what you'd find back home. Decor: It's on par with Atour or Hanting hotels, definitely not luxurious. Facilities: The pool is very, very small. In the morning, there were also many children playing, so it's better than nothing, I suppose. Breakfast: It was alright, all Western-style breakfast, no noodle stations or anything like that. Safety: Although it's by the train station, the surrounding area isn't as chaotic as I imagined. You need to swipe your card to enter the lobby, and there's a security guard at the front desk during the day.

I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel. There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩 But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with. They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like. Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway. The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant. For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly. It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead. The staff here are very kind, but apart from that, I have to be honest about what really matters to me. I do appreciate the room upgrade, but truely the hotel facilities are disappointing.
