Denver North Hotel

Love this hotel. Great staff. Clean. Good location. Good rates.

I have photos but can not load here. 1. Upon checking in, without giving the gentleman my card, after asking my name he said your card was declined. I asked how could that be? I booked through ******* and it was already paid. He said, I don’t know but it’s been declined, can you pay now? I said no, let me call ******* and all of a sudden my card was “good” now. Shady. 2. The room had blinds warped from the sun, no way to close them for privacy even if the handle to close them were attached. Lamp supposed to be attached to head board was hanging and supported by two wires twisted together and they were live! Electrical danger beyond imagination. There was a hole the size of a suitcase in the boxspring side. No tv remote. Only one towel and no maid service to provide an extra one or even on for the floor or even a wash cloth. 3. The area is literally overrun with homeless. No type of security to prevent them from loitering in the lobby even. Not the homeless fault, but I walked over to Applebees to only be approached by 3 different individuals asking for money. Applebees has to lock the restrooms to keep them out. I can’t describe how many in this area. 4. The photos on the ******* website do NOT match the hotel. This honestly was impossible to stay. I knew I could not get a refund so out of my pocket I got a room at another new hotel a few blocks away. Secured entry and away from the highway interchange for I25 and 120th. Do NOT stay here!

The property was unclean to the point that i asked for a refund immediately after seeing the room. I was told no refund unless i get one through ******* where i booked the room. This property needs different management

Sketchy. No TV remote. Went to front desk to ask for one. Gave us one and said if it didn’t work to call. It didn’t work, tried to call and the phone didn’t work. Went back to the desk. They sent a maintenance man with a different remote that worked and a phone that still didn’t work. The light over the sink didn’t work. There was a drunk outside the front door. Someone came to the door looking for the plunger. Run down. Would not recommend.

This property is not well kept at all. The front desk staff was super friendly but the rooms were very dirty. There were stains on the bed, lamp shades, and miscellaneous things smeared on the walls. We did not stay due to the condition of the room.

These guys are awesome cant thank you enough they helped everywhere we needed and made it a great stay.

Extremely frustrating on an already late check in we waited almost an hour m hotel was meh on cleanliness

So the whole area has a bad wrap, but since being under new management, this Hotel is making it work. Management was very reasonable and friendly. It's an older property but they are doing great with it. Often times this is one of the more affordable places. Not a super high end joint, but not the dive it could be! Reasonable rates for reasonable accommodations. I appreciate this place keeping rates down and WILL be staying here again without concern!

The bathroom did not work. Two person room... one set of towels. Loitering people all around. Will not stay again
