Globalstay. Modern North York Condos

I had the worst experience out of all my trips to Toronto. Please make sure to take pictures of the furniture in the unit when you check in, otherwise you risk being charged for damages caused by others. They took a deposit of CAD 200 from me, and 9 days after I checked out, they sent me a photo of a damaged bedside table top which we never touched. Only my husband and I stayed there, and we are completely confident we caused no damage. I asked them to provide proof with the exact date the pictures were taken and a supervisor’s report, but even after more than a month, no one has replied—despite how persistent they were in contacting me before check-in to collect the deposit. The check-in process was also terrible. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at 10:30 pm for self check-in. There were many key lock boxes, none of them numbered, and the guide sheet they sent showed a completely different placement than what I found. At that late hour, there was no one to help. Thankfully, a kind security lady from another building helped me, otherwise I would have been stuck outside in the cold all night. Overall, careless management and lack of accountability made this a very bad experience.

Not happy with their services

Poor communications between the owner and *******. Don’t know how this can category as hotels! It was a very bad experience and not a regular hotel check in! It caused a big trouble to clients check-in. Unexpectedly spending over 2 hours in the phone.for all check-in procedures, no “real person” helping, very improperly. Don’t think will choose it in future!

Comfortable, well-appointed and clean home base in a perfect central location for meetings that were all over Toronto. The kitchen was great for a home cooked meal as well as breakfast every day while there were plenty of high end restaurants and pubs for the evenings.
