Just an amazing oasis of comfort and relaxation in Sitges! The Sabàtic Sitges Hotel is truly a phenomenal hotel, with beautiful interiors and all the comforts you could wish for. On arrival the team at Reception was just so warm and welcoming, which echoed throughout the hotel with every staff we engaged with. Our breakfast experience every day was top class, and the most amazing host Susanah that made sure we never wanted for anything. An incredible hotel with amazing staff... The location is slightly away from the main town area which was perfect for our choice, given our need for some downtime at the hotel... Definitely can't wait to be back.

5***** from checking in and during our stay! Rafiel collected us from the train station and Marco checked us in, what a welcome to the hotel! 2 Fabulous guys! Refreshments on arrival, good information about the hotel and the room with a view was amazing 👏. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were extremely friendly, good pool and facilities, kids pool, adults pool, gym. Water and Ice dispensers on floors 1 & 4. 10-15 min walk to the beach front? but do take advantage of the free shuttle service. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

If this review sounds like a love letter, you got me, because I loved my stay at the Sabátic in Stiges. I had a wonderful experience. I was overdue for a vacation when I was invited to join several others in celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday. Most of the hotels people were going for were along the beach. Being a Bonvoy Member though, I always check the Marriott app to see what’s available first and the Sabátic seemed to be the only option in Sitges. I almost cut bait when I saw that it was away from the beach but upon further investigation, I realized that the hotels in Sitges aren’t on the beach exactly, rather, across the street. And those hotels didn’t look nearly as nice as the Sabátic. That brings us to the hill. Yes, it’s uphill. No, it’s not so arduous… I’m 50, I am pretty overweight with an arthritic knee, I did nine days back and forth several times a day without so much as getting winded. In the end, If you don’t have mobility issues don’t sweat it. It’s a ten minute walk into town, there’s also a shuttle that upon check in was every hour (pre-reserve as it fills up) but by the end of the stay they were running every 20 minutes. The front desk is also very helpful in calling cabs that, generally, come pretty quickly. What (little) you lose in proximity you gain in luxury and quietude. You also get outstanding service, which is what really bowled me over and earned my five stars and undying adoration. At check-in, I was immediately welcomed with a smile, I did the usual passport, credit card, and all that. After the gentleman came out from around the counter to give me a little tribune about the hotel and he was kind enough to point out some particulars, such as the vermouth tastings, the events, timing of breakfast, and such. He directed me to the elevators and to the third floor. I admit, I was a bit bummed to not be on a higher floor but I got over it real fast when I walked into a beautiful (and impeccably clean) two-room suite featuring a beautiful balcony with a view of the mountains (as advertised) but also, the city and the Mediterranean sea if I just faced forward which the very comfortable outdoor settee just happened to face. I booked a Garaff Junior Suite with a queen bed, but I am fairly certain the bed was actually a king. Unlike a disturbing number of Marriott properties in Europe, there were ample oversized plush pillows (I didn’t have to ask for more) and the mattress was heaven in terms of comfort. There was a wardrobe area with two cabinets and built in luggage rack, two drawers, etc. — plenty space for everything — I don’t travel light. The bathroom was spacious with a rain shower — hot water took a bit but nothing too crazy. While it doesn’t factor in my rating because it’s insignificant: the iron was terrible — no steam and it got too hot so be careful not to burn your clothes. There’s a mini fridge with enough space to store your gazpacho and Iberian ham you bought at the adjacent grocery store around the

Attentive, accommodating and friendly staff, chilled vibe and spacious rooms with generous terraces made for an amazing short stay. A short and pleasant walk from the centre, and that tiny bit of distance was actually kind of nice. Highly recommend.

Incredibly clean hotel with lovely guest rooms. The restaurant manager during the day was absolutely delightful and both the breakfast and caesar salad were excellent. Gym/pilates studio felt very serene and a welcome escape from the noise of Barcelona. A very easy short walk into the centre of town, the only reason it’s not a 5* review is the lack of pool bar which I believe will reopen in June.

I stayed in the Sabatic Sitges in November for a week as recuperation from some illness. I think it is going to come into its own over the next couple of years, but at the moment, it is a decent hotel rather on its own away from civilisation. Sitges is clearly expanding fast and building is going on all round the hotel. The hotels facilities and staff are very good and will improve with their expansion plans. The problem is that aside from a supermarket around the corner, there is little to occupy guests. The main town is a 15-20 minute walk and the return to the hotel is up a fairly sizeable hill. It meant for someone who still wasn't very well, the options were limited. Once the building work is complete nearby and restaurants/hotels/shops open up, I can see that part of Sitges becoming a buzzy hub that will suit the hotel. I think at that point, it becomes well worth another visit; at the moment, it is a beacon amongst a desert.

The room was better than I expected. It was large, clean and had a balcony with a view of the sea. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel had a pool table which we used on a daily basis. The breakfast was the best that we have had during our 60 day trip. There were a lot of options which were replenished frequently. The best part of our stay were the people who worked there. Gonzalo who assisted us with our luggage and our daily needs. Susanna and Axel who were there at breakfast and greeted us with a smile. Lorenzo with whom I was able to speak Italian to and answered any questions. Marc who assisted us with train issues. When I think back on my stay at the Sabatic it is not the room or the amenities that I will remember fondly. It is the people who made our trip truly memorable. It was like being among by friends. I would strongly recommend this hotel, it is the only one I would stay at in Sitges.

Property was new, clean, has many amenities so I didn’t need to leave hotel if I chose to - pool table, swimming pools, gym, fitness/yoga classes, live band, DJ music. Breakfast was vast, many healthy options. Loved my suite, it was complete and spacious. Towels were soft and thick.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! From the very beginning to the end, it was exceptional. Without wanting to miss anyone, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to a few staff members who truly enhanced our experience. Marissa provided a warm welcome, with clear explanations and a friendly demeanor that made us feel incredibly welcome. The delightful scent upon entering was an added touch. Marc at the reception was notably hospitable, and Estafania not only maintained the restaurant's impeccable appearance but also exhibited a keen awareness of guests, radiating warmth. Our dining experience was a highlight, thanks to Irene, a fantastic hostess who considered every detail. Zitjes is truly a wonderful place to visit, and this hotel guarantees an ultimate vacation feel. Highly recommended!
