Residence Inn Tuscaloosa

I have only stayed at a few hotels but this one blew me away! I love the entire room! The cost was very moderate especially with the amenities. The location was perfect, safe and beautiful! I am very pleased.

I was extremely surprised by this hotel. Super clean, well decorated (Roll Tide), and great amenities. We swam in the indoor pools 3 times which was very clean and maintained. The good shower water pressure was also noteworthy.

Our favorite place to stay when we go visit family. Convenient, clean and comfortable.

Nice new place tl stay! We could wash our clothes easely. Breakfast was super and enough space/tables for it. Popcorn on every evening. Coffee and water all the time! Great studios! Big parking lots! Good service!

I like the conveniences they offer. It’s a relatively new property and in pristine condition. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I like the spacious rooms. The water downstairs was often empty, the breakfast was very basic and not appetizing. More connecting rooms would be good.

The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious. We booked a suite and paid on the higher end of hotels in the area. We did so thinking we would have a good quality hotel. However, the hotel doesn’t appear to be kept up very well. The ceiling was peeling in our room. Massive areas with ceiling material hanging down. The cords for the TVs were dangling down the wall in a mess. Many of the channels didn’t come in well. The towels were stained both in the room and at the pool. The shower curtain was not long enough. It barely met the tub so water kept splashing out on the floor. It was also stained along the bottom suggesting it hadn’t been washed in quite some time. They kept running out of food at the breakfast. They literally ran completely out of milk, bacon and biscuits. I don’t mean for the day. They were out and needed to order more. Clearly they weren’t planning their stock accordingly. We were going to grill out one night but the grills were quite dirty. It didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a really long time if at all. Also, the pool was indoors and I expected it to have been heated. It wasn’t. The water was quite cold and the shower by the pool also didn’t have hot water hooked up to it. There was no way to warm up or even rinse off without freezing.

All staff were very friendly and accommodating.
