The Chateau itself is a work of art. Marie Antoinette is the owner and operator. The combination is beyond expectations and I expected a lot. We are very picky and stay at the best hotels. We have no suggestions to make this stay better. You won't be disappointed. It will create memories of a lifetime

My wife and I spent one night at the Chateau Clement in September on our way back fro the the Pyrenees to Switzerland. We had a gorgeous suite with two spacious rooms - one bedroom and one living room - overlooking the beautiful garden and valley. The decors and decoration wer totally „Belle epoque“, partly original (unbelievable wooden ceiling) partly very tasteful replicas. The curtains were a dream. Reception and service by the owner, her daughter and the staff was extremely warm and welcoming and although there was only one more family staying at the hotel that night, the breakfast buffet was opulent and rich.

The Chateau is unique, the building is beautiful with wonderful views and very comfortable rooms but it is Marie and her staff that make this such an amazing place. Everything that could be done to make the guests’ stay comfortable is done, from all the little details in the rooms to booking restaurants and taxis, nothing too much trouble. We much look forward to returning.

Very warm welcoming by Marie Antoinette. Feeling like home. Kids friendly. Attention to the details. You feel love to their clients through every part of this place! Tasty breakfast. Stunning view. Marvelous garden. Certainly we’ll be back to live those nice moments. Authentic French village in Ardèche region with very charming people, nice food and thrilling landscape.

When booking, we were asked for a deposit and as soon as we arrived, just a little hello but directly we were asked for our credit card for security, when we had already given it when booking, I had the misfortune to ask to pay at the end of the stay and we were told no credit card no rooms, I was really annoyed. It was a beautiful castle and a beautiful room but a failed welcome

If you want to feel like you belong in beautiful chateau then stay here. The chateau and the gardens are lovely. Busy mornings and gentle afternoons spent by the heated swimming pool were a perfect contrast to a busy first week of our holiday. Marie Antoinette is charming and attentive; nothing is too much bother, even recommending and booking delightful restaurants for us. Our room was huge and she upgraded us just because she could. I can’t wait to return.

We needed calm and relaxation, this castle is much more a bed and breakfast than a hotel, if you like the atmosphere where everyone talks to each other without even knowing each other, that the staff talks to you every time you pass by, then this is for you, we are rather discreet and our luxury is to be able to feel calm and not feel free to speak or not

Our family of four stayed for two nights in the Marie Antionette suite at the exquisite Chateau Clement and did not want to leave. The host of the property, Marie Antionette, was extremely warm and welcoming, and we felt instantly at home in her lovely chateau. The property has been lovingly restored and is surrounded by beautiful grounds and sweeping views of the hills and nearby town. Although we visited with our children (9 and 15), this property would have been a wonderful and romantic getaway for any couple. Nearby, there are lovely towns to explore as well as multiple adventurous activities, such as canyoning. We certainly hope to return in the future and to enjoy more time at this beautiful and peaceful estate. If you are on the fence about visiting, don't be - just book it! You will not regret your decision.

Simply stunning Chateau set in beautiful gardens overlooking Vals-Les-Bains. Large comfortable room, exceptionally clean and well presented. Wonderful breakfast served on the terrace. Pool area is perfect for relaxing. Huge thanks to Marie-Antoinette for being the perfect hostess. We should have stayed another couple of nights.
