Hotels near Hokkaido Wok in Varese

The place was clean, but the food was awful. One of my friends got sick from their ham. It is like 20 minutes away from Varese center by foot, it is like 30 minutes away from the train station, my point is it is quite far from the things of interest of Varese/places to eat ( you have to search them, because besides the coffee, nothing has taste there) At lunch, we had brocolli wich looked really awful. Horrible food.

It's a fairytale! It took me a lot to decide if to take the risk to travel or not. I'm glad I did take the risk! This is the first holiday when I don't check anything about the place I was going to stay, surrounding area not at all, just wanted to escape London for a bit. From far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The hotel looks like a museum, incredibly amazing, surprises didn't chased to happen, they have a pool, tennis court, soccer court so many facilities, it's crazy. The room I've stayed, stunning,the view from the balcony took my breath away. It's quite, it's beautiful, it's perfect! Hotel stuff, they couldn't do any better than this, friendly, willing to assist whenever necessary, I felt like home! I've even got an early check in 🤗.Thank you Domenico, Monica, Andrea, Manpreet and everyone else!!! For anyone looking to escape the madness from a busy city like London let's say, this is the best place to be! P.S. make sure you bring mosquitoes spray, as I've mentioned I haven't done any inquiries before coming so, mosquitoes attack wasn't fun at all. I was looking forward to have dinner in the outdoors restaurant which ended up being a nightmare, but it was entirely my fault, the hotel is located on a hill, surrendered by trees obviously you'll have to deal with mosquitoes. We have just come back from a week in Varese. We chose the hotel Europa as they have some rooms equipped with a little kitchen. It was a special and important occasion for us. What to say: first, the location is unbeatable while you are right in te city center, with dozen of restaurants nearby. Parking is not an issue as the hotel has a closed parking. In terms of furnishing, services etc. It is a typical Italian 3 stars hotel. Somehow you can feel that the place has had a glorious past and feels now a bit decadent (green spaces not wow, some kitch decoration touches etc), a restaurant which is now a pub with a limited choice BUT what Makes the Europa special are the people working there: Alessandro, Roberto and Daniela in reception, the guy managing the pub / restaurant and of course the chambermaid Nicoletta: they really made us feeling and at home and they are the best reason to come back!

The view is stunning. We stayed in two of the economy rooms ( without view to the lake). The rooms are basics but comfortable enough( plentiful warm water with good pressure) and at a good price. This area of Italy is really beautiful and not meant for you to stay in your room for hours on end. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant ( gorgeous view) includes good proper Italian cappuccino, different pastries, ham, boiled and scrambled eggs , toast , fruits, yoghurts. The service is good and attentive. We also had pizza in the evening . The pizzas are thin and very big. We enjoyed them. The receptionist and Maria were particularly nice to us, giving us advice and arranging things for us. This region in Italy is full of hills and the incline of the streets can be quite steep with many curves in the roads. If you decide to rent a car I would advise an SUV or a 4X4 the streets are in a good state but a stronger car will manage easier those hills. When you are arriving to the hotel you should follow the signs of the hotel instead of your navigation system. Our navigation system selected a route that passed an old village with very narrow streets ( only fit for very small cars or motobikes). You can easily get stuck on those narrow streets. I would strongly recommend arriving at the hotel during the day and not when it is dark. I would definitely stay in hotel la Stampa again.

This place has been everything we wanted and more. We choose this place because we thought it was modern and had a good breakfast but oh boy, it is MUCH MORE THAN THAT. The place has been just refurbished and everything from the moment you get in is clean and with beautiful inspired 50’s / 60’s retro modern decor that just screams COOL! Breakfast is amazing and it has a wide variety of savour and sweet foods that will be more than enough. We asked for a non dairy milk, and after 5 minutes we have Rice Soja and Oats to choose from ❤️ The staff are Incredible helpful and sweet and they are on top of everything. Paying attention to to very little details and that’s what makes such difference in this place. Nothing was left to chance. Bedroom was spacious, modern, the sower with so much pressure, towels clean, everything working round the clock. The common areas are so big and full of board games, sofas comfortable and it’s just a space where You can see beauty and feel you belong all the time. No wonder anymore and come and STAY in this magnificent place. 😉

The stuff is superbe! The people from the front desk are super professional even when you are stressed they think about a way to solve problems with going the extra mile! Thank you so much for such service! So reader please be nice to them! The breakfast and the beds/rooms/toilet/foyer are very clean - that’s really a big plus and beds are truely comfy. The modern Retro looking supercool Toilet even has a bidet and the soap is not one of those cheap soaps it smells wonderful and is not slimy! Check out the Italian espresso! It’s good and also the mini cupcakes, fresh different fruits, the fresh yoghurt (no drying spots yesss) and the salami is remarkable. Foyer and check in with modern desks for working travelers or young and old kids who want to charge their gadgets… Wifi: no Problems Good rest :)
