Off the beaten track, on top of a hill looking over the south of France. On a good day you can even see Corsica. A lovely area with a nearby small town. I felt this was secluded and exclusive. I’ve never quite felt peace like it. It’s so quiet and relaxing. If I were to ever go away by myself or just with my partner for a quiet week, this would be it. As someone who works in luxury travel, the little gifts I had for my child goes such a long way. Even though they cost a small amount, it is these touches which keep high net worth individuals coming back and will keep people like me sending clients to the hotel. Top quality breakfast. Stunning pool area. Fantastic clean and spacious room. I hope to go back one day.

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Chateau St. Martin and found the experience to be luxurious and relaxing. Sitting on a hill, overlooking the Côte d’Azur, this resort had a stunning view from our terrace. (In fact you could have dinner on the terrace at sunset!) Every aspect of St. Martin is luxurious, but the staff was quick to respond to Anything we needed. (The day of our arrival, the entire property had been used for a wedding). Despite the huge crowds departing the hotel, Maria took care to ensure we had lunch in the lounge and made us comfortable). The sommelier, Paul, was very gracious is providing a tour of the wine cellar and was spectacular in selecting wines for us at lunch and dinner in the restaurant. (His choice of a Corsican wine wine was excellent!). If you are looking for a relaxing, luxury location to stay, this is the spot!

Stayed in Deluxe Jr Suite for 2 nights in September. Arrival was smooth and efficient and the suite was spacious with an attractive terrace. Overall, the service levels in the hotel very high. We had booked the main restaurant Le Saint Martin for dinner both nights. However, the dinner was an extreme disappointment. Two dishes in particular stood out (not in a good way), the parsnip risotto style (awful) and the pork knuckle, just sickly sweet shredded pork. We cancelled the reservation for the second night and ate in the outdoor bar area. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, but, again with the kitchen, cooked to order items ordered were really not very good. Overall pleasant stay in an area we visit frequently, but would not return.

We traveled in June 2023. We rented a car and drove to the property, easy to find even though the roads are tiny....be careful if traveling at night. Food and service was amazing. A wonderful place to dine. We stayed for three nights. The pool and pool service was top notch. Turn down service was lovely and the staff was always very friendly. I do think they need to communicate better. They do not have irons in the room and we requsted one and they said they would do it for us. But...they charged us $35 for two shirts. They did not communicate that there would be a charge. We called the front desk to inquire about that and all they said was sorry we did not tell you. We also had a lot of ants on our balcony...it was really gross. They did spray non-toxic stuff to help with the issue. Vence is a very pretty town and this hotel is worth a few nights, very unique and again the food was delicious. The breakfast everyday was wonderful and creative We regret renting a car and driving there ourselfs. It would have been easier taking a taxi from Nice. We came all the way from Saint Tropez, so we wish we would have dropped our car off in Nice by the train station. Tips: We traveled with our daughter who was 11 at the time. They treated her like a princess. This hotel also has an amazing spa....and great gym. Not to be missed!!

We spent 2 days here. The hotel is beautiful. The views from the terrace are magnificent. Our room was so comfortable and the gardens and pool are lovely. We had a half board package- definitely worth it as the breakfast buffet is fantastic. The menu du marche changes daily and is superb. Eating this fabulous food on the terrace is a real treat.

We spent 4 nights here in a delightful room. Fabulous view. V good service. A bit disappointing food - the fare at the Estival was poor compared to expectations (everything cold) and even the main restaurant was rather style over substance. Excellent breakfast however.

We’ve eaten here before, and everything has been just perfect. It’s expensive even by French Riviera standards but has always been worth it because it’s so special. This year and this time was different, different staff, younger inexperienced and nowhere near as attentive as they should be. On the night we visited it was crowded to the point where we could not take a drink outside on n the terrace area, something we’ve never experienced before, then there were the American couple on the table behind that were asked to move after they’d sat down, ordered there food and were drinking there drinks because “it’s already booked for someone else so you must move, they protested and said they were staying in the hotel but it seemed to make no difference, the drinks were slow and after ordering cocktails we were told it would be 20 minutes as the barman was on his own and super busy. It really was not an enjoyable evening, if it wasn’t for the food we probably wouldn’t go back. When you are charging top dollar everything has to be perfect. The service team Need to up there game by a big margin in the meantime the Colombe d’Or offer better and service. If this continues in the restaurant they may well be putting there coveted Michelin star at risk

Terrific hotel - very elegant and traditional common areas with modern bedrooms. Food is excellent, service great and the grounds are very beautiful. Treat yourself and go, and have dinner there
