The hotel is dreamy. Although it is not on the main island of Venice, you can easily reach St. Mark's Square by taking the hotel's private ferry. The hotel has a beautiful garden.

We had high expectations for our stay at Hotel Cipriani. We booked a premium suite with a premium view that was detailed in the suite description on the hotel's website. On check-in, we were given a spacious room that was very clean but one that did not have the view as stated. We let the booking team know right away and they told us that they had four suites in this suite class and ours did not have as premium of a view as the others. We couldn't see the island the suite was named after, at all. We expressed disappointed and let them know we'd paid the premium price tag for the view that was specified in writing. They said the other suites were taken and there was nothing they could do. No refund for the downgrade was offered. They seemed baffled when I showed them their own website and the description of the room type as having a view of a specific island. This was a very disappointing way to start our stay and had we known there was a disconnect between the room you book and the room given, we never would have stayed there. We were also very surprised that the hotel didn't offer to refund us for the downgrade. Our stay ended as poorly as it began: we needed to leave the hotel at 4am for an international connection and we asked the concierge the day before if the kitchen could have a breakfast box or box of pastries to go with us. Breakfast is included in the stay. We were told they couldn't accommodate any takeaway breakfast - not even pastries. We left as a family with two small children without even a croissant the morning of our departure. All but the room service and housekeeping staff, who were absolutely excellent, showed a shocking lack of concern and aptitude for service at Hotel Cipriani. The concierge in particular was very disappointing.

I stayed for a long weekend and the whole trip was great. I would never stay at another hotel in Venice. The food and facilities were great but it was the service that stood out. A particular mention to Guido and his team who made the experience unforgettable. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

You are in Venice but you are not ;)… you get to enjoy a crowded city and still escape to a quiet place.

This is truly stunning hotel set on an island of calm but only a five minute boat ride in the Hotel’s own boat to St Mark’s Square. From the moment we arrived to our final boat journey we were looked after impeccably by all the staff. The weather was so good we managed to have a few hours each day of our stay sunbathing around the Hotel’s super swimming pool. We dined in Cip’s restaurant one evening on the platform over the lagoon and the food was delicious and the service fantastic. Thank you everyone at the Hotel Cipriani for making our stay before we boarded the VSOE so special

We always stay at the Cipriani when in Venice and it remains an oasis of calm in the bustling city. we chose a room overlooking St Mark's which was great but a long way from the hotel hub, so back to the main building next time. Bellinis by the pool are outstanding and Cip's Club is superb for dinner. we had a superb stay and only top tip is to arrange an (expensive) private transfer out to the airport which is just so easy and convenient.

Waste of money, average service, unprofessional, dishonest staff about basic things. Sad to see a beautiful hotel like the Cipriani being managed by the wrong manager and staff

Magical hotel with one of the best views in the world. The staff are wonderful and make your stay special.

While I expected the Cipriani to be spectacular, we were duly impressed with the hotel and grounds, the fresh and delicious food, and the thoughtful and competent staff at every venue. We took the launch from the airport, which is absolutely the best choice as they met us at customs and shepherded us to the launch and directly to the hotel. Incredible service and overall incredible experience. Can't wait to go back!

This hotel is absolutely stunning staff wonderful. This is not inexpensive but worth it. We stayed 3 nights ate at the restaurant once our room overlooked the lagoon and was beautifully furnished. We thought Venice might not be that crowded in April but were wrong so it was especially good getting the shuttle back to the hotel away from the madness of Saint Marks square. We have stayed at other Belmont hotels and this one certainly did not disappoint.

this is the best way to experience venice, secluded and yet close to the center. the boat shuttle is the best part! everyone was friendly and super accomodating.

Great experience for a family holiday. We stayed with our young children who loved the experience. We will definetally return.
