Best Windows

We just can't get enough from this place.... It's absolutely amazing easy check in, good value for money ,nice,clean and very spacious room/ typical venetian style/. THE view..be prepared for something insane,breathtaking, I can't describe the feeling. We can't even rate Best windows as 5 five stars, we just can say ...for the past few days that was our home. Thank you for everything, see you next year

View was great, room needs major updating. Bed was awful, dank smelly room with furniture that is literally falling apart:( if mosquitoes like you, watch out! We had a swarm of little buggers that ate very well every single night. Beware.. the door to the place is hidden with a small sign, explaining that you have to call a number. Registration is two twisty blocks away at another hotel.. it was surreal after a long day of travel, especially lugging that damn luggage everywhere. Guy at reception was nice, didn’t give us much info but had a few jokes for us!! We both left with a nasty cough and congestion.. the ventilation system is awful. Next time, we will skip the view and go for comfort! A neighboring bar in the All Angelo Art Hotel is gold! Say hello to Tatiana for us.. the nicest person in all of Venice!!

Can’t review the actual room we booked because instead of receiving the Piazza View, we received an alley view, which was considerably less in cost although they did not offer to credit us the difference. Room was clean. Decent size for European standards. Bathroom was large. Entrance was odd to get into, and we had to walk a block to another hotel if we had any issues with our room. The phone did not work. We tried to tell them twice about it, but it was never repaired. They did offer to turn the air conditioner on for us early, which was a plus considering it was sweltering out. Not enough space for luggage or clothing. Plus was the location which was awesome because it was right outside the Piazza.

What an amazing location, right in the Bell Tower of St Marks sq. Decent room big comfy bed, whirlpool bath and shower. Only thing missing no tea and coffee facilities in the room. 4min walk to atico Panada to check in and out. Dissapointed no English TV channels. Had a great stay would do so again.

The location really sells it for Best Rooms. We were in room 710 this weekend for my daughter’s birthday. It’s advertised as 20sqm though the room is split in 2 with one area having a hard uncomfortable sofa, large double wardrobe, makeshift cupboard that is locked so unsure what it’s there for other than Storting it somewhere and the room has the bead room, spacious and very traditional. Checking in at the hotel Antic Padana was a lengthy process, not because of the lack of enthusiasm of the receptionist. The lack of staff meant the poor guy on reception had to check everyone in and show each to their rooms all by himself and there are 2 buildings 100m apart, we were 4th in the queue so stood 45mins while he ran about trying his best to check everyone in- such a happy, positive guy with an incredible work ethic doing the job of at least 3people. I certainly wouldn’t put up with such poor employment conditions. You enter the building off St Marc’s sq where the smell is pretty damp, like a dirty mop has just washed the floors. We were on the top floor room at the rear. It’s traditionally Italian in the bedroom looking over into the alley at the rear of the main clock face. Main room was pleasant, bed large and comfortable however lounge area is a mismatch of furniture cramped in one space. Door frame coming off the wall, curtains hanging where the tape has come off the fabric, and missing bulbs. We were also eaten alive with mosquitos even though we barely opened the window. I’d definitely recommend on location, had this room been elsewhere I would have been pretty disappointed.

Firstly a big shout out to the receptionist Alex who was most helpful, and 10/10 for location. Unfortunatly the standard of the room did not meet minimal expectations, the bed was very hard and one of two pillows like sleeping on a brick.... It was that bad I used clothing and did away with it, the TV did not work, toilet seat broken and you could not have a shower without flooding the bathroom due to eh dodgy shower screen... wod of had a bath instead but no plug! Location wise you are out the door straight into the square and can't be more than 50 metres from the Basillica, but beware of the noise staying so close.

really appalling room with towels that smelled bad, covers over the sheets that have probably not been washed and truly the worst service I have ever experienced in a hotel. the room was full of mosquitos that we had to chase around with a towel so we could get some sleep, or lack of as the mattress of the bed is of really cheap quality. which also meant that at no point could we open the windows to get some fresh air and air out the room.we asked for a second key and the very rude guy at reception took more than 24 hours to get it to us. he also told us that we had to pay 10 euros as a deposit and by the next day he had forgotten how much he had asked and told us it was 5. Rude, obnoxious and complete lack of service. so overpriced for this really low budget hotel that tries to pass as 3 star
