I stayed at this place a few years ago so I decided to stay again. I had a great time. I enjoyed the breakfast as they have local fruits. The hotel was not hard locate and it is has an easy access to other activities in the city. Also there is an OXXO and a gas station close to the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous and respectful and able to answer questions about the city.

Nos hospedamos una noche mi esposo, mi perro y yo. El hotel cuenta con estacionamiento en frente, tiene un guardia amable, demasiado amable en algunos momentos. En la recepción sanitizan todo lo que tocas con un liquido vaporoso pero el señor te ayuda con las maletas y toca todo, tuve que pedirle amablemente que no tocara más cosas en la habitación, que con eso estábamos bien. Admiten mascotas con un costo adicional (del que me enteré hasta que llegué ahí), como $300. Nos permitieron dejarlo solo en la habitación siempre y cuando no se suba a la cama y no haga ruido. Recién habíamos llegado, escuchamos llegar a otros huéspedes con un perrito y los colocaron justo en frente de nosotros, no sé si les parece buena idea colocar a todos los perros en el mismo piso o zona... lo cual no fue tan buena idea porque se ladraban de puerta a puerta. Afortunadamente mi perro no es tan intenso y después de un rato se calmó. Te venden que la habitación tiene balcón, no hay nada de vista, no se pierden de nada. La zona es concurrida y las calles están llenas de baches y comercio informal. Está muy cerca del centro pero no parece una zona muy segura. La habitación es cómoda y amplia, el WiFi llega bien a la habitación y la tele tiene cable. El baño estaba bastante limpio y la cama también. Como hotel para pasar la noche está bien, pero si se van a quedar más días recomendaría algo más sobre las avenidas principales que está más bonito.

My wife and I took a mini vacation and booked a four-night stay at the Marriott Villahermosa Hotel because it’s ranked as a quality hotel. However, we were disappointed with some issues we experienced. The lobby has a musty smell, and the metal door frame in the bathroom of our room had much corrosion due to moisture condensation from the air conditioner register. A hotel of this category and price should not have these issues. The worst complaint is that we had trouble sleeping Saturday night because of the loud music from a social event that lasted until 4:00 am.
