We stayed 1 night at the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel. We took a room overlooking the river to see the sunrise. That's wonderful. The bedding is excellent. The breakfast is not exceptional but the terrace overlooking the river makes up for it. We still prefer the warmth of small homestays

This is a beautiful small hotel, located on the edge of town in Chau Doc, so it's refreshingly quiet, but within easy walking distance to many little cafes and restaurants. We had a simply gorgeous double room with a balcony on the fourth floor overlooking the rice fields and Sam Mountain. The decor is really very tasteful, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. We had great food in the restaurant. What stood out for us were the amazing and very peaceful views, and the absolute kindness we were shown by the hotel staff and the owner. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We loved Chau Doc, but The Little Saigon Homestay made our visit very special to us. It's really a charming place with beautiful people who made our stay exceptional. The staff were also very helpful in organising tours for us which really made a difference too. Nothing was too much effort for them. Thank you Little Saigon Homestay! We were very sad to leave. xx

Great staff, super helpful, and good position! 20 mins by scooter from the main mountain and 40 from the Cajuput forest!

I have stayed here for two nights with my partner. You get exactly what you book. The pictures meet reality. Nothing too special or too modern but very clean and capable staff. One of the staff speaks very good English for Vietnamese standards. The rest of the staff are happy to help you while talking through Google translator. These conversations are slower but you'll get there. It's very central and the room we stayed in was very quiet, too. As usual you can rent out scooter's or book tours. If you're happy driving a scooter I would recommend you to book a private scooter tour through the countryside to the Tra Su Forest and back for $35 AUD.

I only stayed near the project site on business trip. The hotel room is very large, but the facilities are relatively backward, but it is okay for the relatively backward province of Vietnam. The swimming pool is great and there are no people living. The location is really too biased.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien équipées et la terrasse à l'étage est très agréable pour boire un verre en observant l'activité intense de la rue. La table de billard et le petit bar offrent un temps de détente très appréciable. La propriétaire est très acceuillante et professionelle. Elle s'occupe de tout, il suffit de demander!!! Vous avez envie d'aller nager à la piscine? Pas de problème! Vous voulez visiter le temple de la montagne sacrée? Pas de problème! Vous voulez faire un tour de bateau sur le Mekong pour voir les maisons flottantes? Elle fait venir la guide! Tout cela dans une ambiance très calme et feutrée. Nice hostel. At the reception is more less English speaking, but the staff very much strive to answer all questions and to meet wishes (to be needed with translators). Our room was small and without windows, but very clean and looked new. The AC was super silent. We extended our stay for one night, but moved to a room with windows. This was spacious, but it didn't seem so modern. We used the washing service and borrowed a roller (150k VND / day).
