The hotel is relatively remote, a bit like a motel, the rooms are old, check-in is late, and it's scary to stay alone. The price/performance ratio is okay.

The bed was very comfortable and clean and the facilities in the bathroom were spotless. The decor in the room was very tired and in need of a little bit of TLC. The bar and breakfast area were really comfortable and the food was delicious. Staff absolutely great, very friendly and helpful.

Have stayed at the Honest Lawyer several times as it’s convenient for visiting family. The furnishing are lovely, the bed and linen are clean and comfy. However, the bathroom could do with some TLC. We will stay again.

Ate dinner which was served promptly, hot and tasty.
Perhaps decor in the bar area could be a little more luxurious.

Me & my daughter usually stay at this hotel as it’s convenient when visiting family. The staff are very friendly & welcoming & check in is easy. We had one of the outside rooms & when we walked in, it was warm & cosy, but also clean. The tv worked great & good tea/coffee making facilities. I’ve got to say the beds were really comfy & we had the best nights sleep, it probably helped that we had a room away from the busy road & overlooking the fields at the
back.
