Good ubication. Close to public transport and with a supermarket in front. If you go by car there is a gas station 200 meters away. Spacious room and food. Correct mattresses. Pillows could be improved. Ok bathroom with ok water pressure and
hot-cold ok.
The 24 hour reception works well and they were very friendly.

The hotel asked us to pay again when we checked out. It does not make sense to ask a traveling guest to bear the burden of providing payment evidence. It ruined the good mood of travel in the following days.

We spent one night in Freiburg en transit to the Black Forest. The room is decent and functional, however a bit old and not very clean furniture. We were awaken 7:00 a.m. by noise outside. The hotel delivery wagon was uploading heavy items for enough time to get us fast awake. I complained to front desk. They apologized. Upon our check out we were given a bottle of house wine as a gesture of apology. We dined at the restaurant. The food was good and portions are huge. Also the breakfast buffet was nice and rich.

Very nice room, and friendly staff. There was a bus stop right outside to get downtown. A lovely little bakery across the street, as well as a bank with a secure ATM across another street.

The restaurant is very nice and serves good food at reasonable prices, however it can get very busy. We stayed here for 7 nights, on our first night we asked to be moved as the room was very old fashioned and not very clean, we were moved to a refurbished room, without carpets, which was much better. Many of the rooms and communal areas are badly in need of refurbishment.
