I was booked for 2 nights in Mid September 2021. I booked online and as a result, tried to book dining online for the duration of our stay. The website was extremely slow, so I called the Jubilee Cottage Inn directly. The owner advised me that the dining option was no longer available due to her husband’s illness, but there “may be” other dining options in Tatamagouche. This has not been updated on the website and was the primary reason for our visit. I cancelled the trip, but was still advised that there was a $25 cancellation fee. I was told that if I had mentioned that I was staying for the dining, I would have been advised that it was no longer available. As I booked online, I can’t see how this would have been possible without a follow-up from the hotel. I am disappointed with the lack of information and honesty on the website about the services available and can’t recommend the customer service.
