Hotels near Metro Bar and Grill in Warren

This is my new favorite hotel in every city I go for business. Rooms have everything you need. Bathrooms are brand new and perfectly clean. Beds are super comfortable.

When I went to check in the agent told me that I would need to leave a 25 dollar cash deposit as they don't accept credit card deposits. I told her I didn't have 25 dollars as I don't usually carry cash as it is 2022 and pretty much everyone pays with credit card. She called the Manager and he was ok not leaving the cash deposit because I was assigned one of the 'older' rooms. At that point I said, well i'm not really liking being assigned an 'older' room because that probably means dirty and gross. She said no, it was clean just had older furnishings. So I reluctantly accepted this and went to the room. Well to no shock, it was well not just old, but pretty gross. Flies and insects flying all over especially in the bathroom and there was a dead insect on the bed. The room smelled a mix of cleaning solution and stale smoke. I checked the mattress and boxspring and although now bed bugs I could see, they were very dirty and definitely signs of previous infestations. The bathroom had holes in the walls and god knows what lurked inside. So I went to the front desk and they switched my room after I complained. It was slightly better and I guess a refreshed room but still in an overall bad state. The Staff were nice enough.. I have come to expect little from the Motel 6 brand as a whole and this motel basically reflects the company - a motel brand that is only slightly cheaper than other budget options, but with a consistently poor number of dated properties that are falling apart and dirty, more so than the others. This experience and another with the brand just turned me off it completely. Their Customer Service is poor. The staff are generally friendly, but there is little they can do because they don't get the support of Management to provide a good Customer Service experience. Motel 6 brand needs new leadership at the top - its as dated as its properties.

I have been staying here at Red Roof Inn in Warren on 696 and Dept for an extended amount of time. Clean rooms and friendly and understanding staff, front desk is also very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for anyone that needs extended stay or just for travel

Our family would like to thank the staff at this location. We went for a family members wedding and enjoyed our entire stay. This hotel has exceptional staff who maintain the entire premises and work so hard , the hotel is extremely clean and modern with beautiful fixtures , starting with the rooms, as a parent it was important to us to be sure that our kids were sleeping somewhere clean and safe. This hotel surpassed our expectations. The lobby seating area is just really pretty and huge , the breakfast is great , Truly loved the egg white omelette btw - thank you Vivian who was there the first morning , she made sure our needs were met and continued to clean and refill the breakfast being served there was never a shortage and offered a variety of options for breakfast . The location is very convenient , there are so many shops around. This will always be our go to hotel when we are visiting Michigan , due to the lovely staff and how well they maintain this entire hotel including their friendly services . It was a nice pleasant stay nice staff location and was quiet

Convenient transportation, next to the two supermarkets, eating and placing is also very convenient, the most important thing is to drive the company as long as 5 minutes. There is a Korean restaurant opposite the hotel. The Chinese are open. The taste is very authentic. I like it. I will stay here next time I go abroad.

First time staying. Great restaurant and pool. Overall excellent property we will stay at again.

This hotel is not at the quality level I expected at a Marriot Town Place. I have stayed at several including this one at it’s old location. Marriot took over this property and hasn’t made the necessary improvements. Not only is the property dated it is poorly maintained and cleaned. It is not worth the price as shown in the photos, this should be a $89 a night hotel. Paying a much higher price I would not expect; - Dirty floors as my socks show - Only 2 forks and knifes - Dirty air vent - A cracked lamp shade - Cracks in the walls in the room that could be easily fix in a few minutes by a repairman and some caulk - The door to the bathroom hard to close due to loose rubber on the floor - Part of the siding hang off the side of the building for at least 3 days - The same breakfast of egg muffins and bagels for two days, this not what I expect a “hot” breakfast to consist of. Where is the bacon, sausage and potatoes?? The problems listed indicate management at the hotel has not properly trained the staff to report problems in the rooms. The person cleaning the room has to see the problems but has no incentive to report them to get them fixed. I would seem management doesn’t inspect the rooms. We will not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is great. There is also a free parking space. Breakfast is OK. Is the location far from the airport
