Village Hotel Warrington

Breakfast was top notch , staff were nice , the hotel and spa area is clean and beautiful

The hotel is based on a business park, 800m walk from Warrington Town Quay station. As with other hotels of the chain, the main attraction is the onsite sports facilities; swimming pool, gym and sauna/steam room and jacuzzi. However sometimes these are only accessible for a modest supplement (£5). Similarly, breakfast, dinner and parking are all supplementary. Despite this, the hotel rooms are large, the beds very comfortable, and overall good value.

Bath was broken was dirty bedding was dirty even when asked to clean no tea coffee filled up

excellent location. down side the hot tub was not working there was construction works going through hotel meaning no ac in the rooms could be used

Stayed here for one night whilst celebrating a birthday party at a nearby venue. Good that parking is free between Friday 5pm to Sunday evening but they should make that clearer when booking. Room was ok (we stayed in the club room) big space but lacked a safe, a chair and some more hanging space. Only had one hook to hang a light coat and two shirts. This was an issue because I stayed with my wife and we had brought a couple of dresses and a suit to wear which meant we had to lay them on the floor so they didnt crease. Iron and ironing board and hair dryer was included. Lack of a chair meant you had to use the bed to sit down if you wanted to, I tend to use a chair to tie my shoes when wearing a suit, so was a bit of an issue. Bathroom and room was clean, and did the job. The breakfast was a good buffet breakfast and everything tasted nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would stay again despite the lack of a chair and safe.

We experienced a minor issue with the air conditioning, which randomly activated and blew cold air. Fortunately, the reception staff were helpful and resolved it promptly by disabling it at the fuse box. My partner and I specifically chose the village for its leisure facilities, as we both enjoy using the sauna. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the sauna was extremely poor and off-putting. On multiple visits, there was visible grime and buildup between the wooden slats on the benches, and a persistent black dirt puddle in one corner that appeared untouched. It seemed the pool area staff were not thorough in their cleaning routine. Breakfast was fairly standard with limited variety. The staff appeared overwhelmed by the volume of guests, resulting in long waits to be seated

Was given a club room, very comfortable and spacious. B

Excellent and clean, nice services, location is good. Swimming pool is so nice🥰

Really loved this hotel from the moment we got there. Clean and great vibe !   lovely venue, room and super comfy bed and pillows.  Excellent facilities and swimming pool. Great bar and restaurant area. Only thing was little slow to clear the table and to remind the bar staff both nights about bringing the kids menu ice cream.  Apart from that, it was fabulous, and definitely will come back 😀
