10 minutes from subway station and supermarket. The transportation is convenient. The room was spacious and clean. It's just that the refrigerator in the kitchen is a bit loud. Good service attitude

Having a full kitchen in the room was nice, but the flow of hot water to the shower was extremely slow and weak. Although generally clean and well-kept, a glass left as clean had lip prints on it, and soap dispensers in the shower were essentially empty.

Everything was well kept, but the best part about the river inn was the friendly and helpful front desk. They acknowledge you every time you arrive or depart, and we’re always professional and happy to assist you. The location is just a few min walk from the foggy bottom metro, and 2 blocks from a Trader Joe’s. The rooms have 3/4 kitchens. Just missing an oven… but there was plenty of equipment to cook on a stove, make coffee in the room, and keep plenty of drinks or leftovers in the full size fridge.

Fantasic experienfe start to finish! VERY clean! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My kids didnt want to leave! We will absolutely be back

The Hotel staff requested a physical credit card upon checkin , they don't accept digital wallet cards , but couldn't show me a written rule or policy explaining the rule. Failed communication.

Lovely Boutique Hotel with Very Friendly and Helpful Staff in a Great Neighborhood. Safe and within Walking Distance to the White House, Georgetown, GW University and Metro. Short Metro Ride to the National Mall. Would Stay there again. Pleasantly Surprised.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is close to restaurants, the Metro, grocery stores. Con’s: The rooms needs a facelift. The Queen bed mattress felt worn out and was not comfortable at all. The pullout couch mattress was more comfortable than the Queen bed. The hotel only has heat during the winter, when we arrived the room felt like a sauna. With no way to cool off the room the we were told to slide the windows open. A problem is the window only slides open a few inches.

Very nice front desk, overall clean and safe. But the area has a lot of college students, so it’s not that quiet during weekend nights.

The inn is located on a street where students like to go out and party. There were a lot of loud, drunk, young adults screaming and being loud up until 3 am. They eventually left the area, but it was really loud for several hours and there did not seem to be anyone telling them to quiet down or leave the area.

We love the River Inn! Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, a good size, and it's nice to have the kitchenette. Bed was comfy. Some street noise but it's DC! Had a lovely dinner in the Italian restaurant in the lobby. Conveniently located a short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Station...no need for a car. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location to visit DC colleges and monuments. Nice neighborhood, attentive personnel. Good stay. Everything very clean. The property is been updated, the layout design is traditional. Not fancy but impeccable clean.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. Look forward to staying here on future trips.

The members of staff are truly beautiful people. Their welcoming energy brings a deeper sense of well-being and security while traveling. As someone who travels frequently, I appreciate this and highly recommend staying here.
