It is an ok accomodation. No nonsense. What you see is what you get. We arrived in a tuesday which is a low staff day.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit guten Betten und geräumigen Zimmern. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal mit einem angeschlossenen Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse. Für Hotel- und Restaurantgäste sind Parkplätze fast direkt vor der Tür vorhanden.

Ich war bereits vor vielen Jahren regelmäßig Gast in der Burg Wassenberg. Zwischenzeitlich war das Hotel offensichtlich geschlossen und jetzt ist es wieder buchbar. Das Hotel hat baulich seinen Reiz durch die Lage auf dem Hügel mit Burgfried und seine historische Bausubstanz. Leider muss man aber sagen, dass einige Zimmer sehr einfach, klein und nicht mehr auf dem Stand der Zeit sind. Das hat mich zwar nicht gestört, sollte aber erwähnt werden. Das morgendliche Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend reichhaltig, die Bedienung dabei sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Der Name verspricht deutlich mehr als man mit dem Zimmer geboten bekommt. Äußert einfache und kalte Einrichtung, welche deutlich in die Jahre gekommen ist. Zimmer darüber hinaus im Winter sehr kalt und mit nur einem Heizkörper (im Bad) kaum warm zu bekommen. Rezeption nicht durchgängig besetzt. Für die Nacht steht nur ein Getränke/Snack Automat im Flur zu Verfügung. Frühstück gut

Ich möchte mich nach etlichen Aufenthalten in diesem Jahr und hoffentlich noch vielen zukünftigen Aufenthalten bei allen Mitarbeiter/innen sowie dem stets gegenwärtigen Chef, Herrn Savio, für die immer umsichtige und freundliche Gastlichkeit bedanken, die findet man höchst selten. Wat verouderd, mengelmoes van stijlen, zeer netjes, alle voorzieningen, vriendelijk personeel, ook Engelstalig, rustige omgeving, zeer lekker buffe-tontbijt met veel keuze, spijtig dat het restaurant niet alle dagen open is.
