This is simply the best casual luxury resort in New England. Not as formal as its sister inn the Ocean House, but with all the same attention to detail and amazing service, this is absolutely the best inn in New England. It lives up to the Relais & Chateaux name, and is simply the most welcoming, warm, and delightful hotel. The staff and service are IMPECCABLE. The food is magnificent. The views are stunning.

Me and my partner (young millennial couple) recently stayed at the Weekapaug for a couple days in May and let me tell you with no exaggeration, it was life changing. We were looking for a nice, relaxing, luxurious vacation, and from the moment we arrived -they delivered. The location? As beautiful as you can imagine, right on the water. The Inn? Luxurious and cozy all in one. The rooms are spacious and all unique (the tub in the bathroom alone had me hooked on this place). All the employees have this amazing and calming vibe about them. The Restaurant at the Inn was some of the best fine dining we have had in a long time and their waiters are pros. We booked a massage at the nearby Ocean House which was fantastic! but what really struck us was how seamless you can book and pay between the hotels. One particular highlight at the Inn - me and my partner were enjoying the sunset in their beautiful lawn overlooking the pond and an employee came out, got a nice warm fire going for us and gave us a smores kit! Talk about excellent! See you next year Weekapaug!

The amazing front desk team (Jacob et. al), restaurant team and valet team made our recent stay at the Inn a special and memorable experience. The relais chateaux tradition of excellence and attention to detail is truly maintained at the Weekapaug. Thank you to everyone who delivered the extraordinary level of service and hospitality we received during our recent stay.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful long weekend visit at the Weekapaug Inn. Our spacious and comfortable suite had a scenic view of the salt ponds. Our bathroom had all the amenities that we needed including bathrobes which we wore to the pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed a nature way on the beach, bike riding, yoga class and a boat ride on the salt ponds. Chef Andrew's meals were plated beautifully and tasted even better. The waiters were very attentive as well as all the employees that we encountered at the Inn.

A weekend at the Weekapaug Inn, regardless of the weather, is a treat for the senses. Pouring rain dampened activities outdoors, but a crackling fire and friendly staff made our indoor time feel like a visit to a manor house. The highlight of our stay was a family wedding. As the weather cleared, expert staff arranged the rolling lawns for the ceremony. We utilized every space in this lovely inn including a huge tent. Meals were served by a team of well trained staff who kept an eye on our needs which were met unobtrusively. Our sincere thanks to all of the staff who serviced us with efficiency and a smile. You truly brightened our stay.

I do not recommend staying here, especially if you are travelling with a pet. While they advertise that they are one of the top pet friendly hotels in New England I would beg to differ. My husband and I have stayed at this property a couple of times before and while the grounds are lovely, the staff has always left something to be desired for the true "luxury" experience. Before booking my husband called the hotel to confirm all of the pet policy details as the website info wasn't clear and we now know the true pet policy is buried in links within links. We were told that our dog was not allowed on the beach due to town rules but would be allowed on the lawn and pool area...great we decided to book! We checked in just before noon and were told our room was not ready but we could enjoy the amenities so we decided to lay by the pool which was nearly empty aside from the kids doing cannonballs in the pool. As soon as we entered the pool area we were approached by a server who did not ask our guest info, offer a towel, menu or anything else but instead asked if our dog was a service dog. When we said no we were told we would need to leave. I reiterated what we were told and a few moments later a manager came out letting us know our dog was not welcome in the pool area....so because our room wasn't ready our only option was to sit on the lawn....... I decided to check out right then and there. I understand if policy is policy however how the situation is handled could have been improved dramatically. When you are paying nearly $1,500 a night and then an additional $200 to have your dog with you the approach is simply not acceptable and the lack of communication on their team's part is 100% at fault. Our dog was sitting quietly, disturbing no guests and making no noise so this could have been addressed at a later time. Additionally there is no kitchen in the pool area so I struggle to understand how health code could be a part of this. The way to handle it should have been to approach us if there was a problem and or mention it at check in. Outside of this experience it was clear that they had gone down hill. In front and next to the pool area there was a crew taking down an event from the night before- making noise and speaking loudly with one another when this is a relaxation area of the resort. The pool/gym bathroom was completely filthy with garbage on the floor and there were kids being extremely loud as well as fresh bird poop on several of the lounge chairs. It seems there were more pressing matters the staff could have been dealing with rather than being concerned over our dog. Lastly, there was very minimal parking and we were forced to park in a staff area. Never once did the valet approach us or offer to help with our car/bags. I do not recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time at the Weekapaug Inn. The grounds, staff, service, food and accommodations were all top notch. Even our dog Violet loved the special treatment everyone gets while staying here. The serene, low key atmosphere was super relaxing. This is a real gem! The hotel manager Dave is outstanding. We can’t wait to go back!

Yes its worth it! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed. The amenities are superb but the staff is even better. From morning yoga to paddle boarding on the pond the resort is relaxing and welcoming.
