Brookvale is one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel welcome. Pauline and Chris are so friendly and welcoming and Pauline is a born host. She thinks of everything - be it inside the cosy room with extensively equipped tea and coffee facilities, the dining room with the beautiful fireplace, the well equipped bathroom or the spacious kitchen. In every detail you can see her experience in making her guests as comfortable as possible. The pleasent shower deserves a special mention because such powerful water pressure is not commonplace in every B&B in Ireland. A special treat is the wonderful breakfast. I am a breakfast person and I felt like in heaven!! There was so much choice and everything was absolutely delicious. Pauline had lots of suggestions for special places for us to visit – e. g. Tintern Abbey, the Hook Peninsula with Hook Head & Lighthouse and some lovely strands and beaches as well as Wexford or the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience at New Ross. The B & B is easily accessible and there’s a parking lot right outside the door. So Brookvale is highly recommendable and we enjoyed every moment there. Thank you for our more than pleasent stay, dear Pauline and Chris.

This was our first stop on our first visit to Ireland and it set the bar quite high for the rest of our trip! We had grabbed at bottle of wine at a nearby store to drink in the garden sitting area. The room was comfortable and included everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious with everything made from scratch. It was the best breakfast in our 2 weeks of travel and we still talk about it months later. Pauline also shared great advice and insights for our trip including directions and recommendations to various attractions including a walk at a nearby abbey that was beautiful. We highly recommend this B & B!

A very cozy room - the log burner was lit when I arrived. Everything I needed was there. I had a sound sleep. The breakfast the next morning was very tasty and filled me for the day! I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

I would highly recommend Brookvale to anyone looking for a homely and really comfortable place to stay in this area. Pauline is a fantastic host who is so welcoming and helpful. She drove me to a wedding venue nearby so I didn't have to worry about my car - that's above and beyond in my book! My room and bed were very comfortable. I just wish I had been staying longer to really make the most of it! Breakfast was incredible, so much choice and the brioche French toast was so tasty. I even got a slice of homemade apple tart to take home with me 😊 It's great to know that B & Bs of this quality still exist in Ireland.... Loved it!

We stayed for one night with our two dogs. The host Pauline was very welcoming and friendly. I had asked her about Gluten Free options and a very early start for the ferry and she was so accommodating I was taken aback. This is true Irish hospitality at its best. The room was gorgeous, the wood burning stove was going at full tilt and brought a lovely feel to the room. There was a GF treat for me on arrival and one for my wife. Plenty of coffee and tea options and as above a nice breakfast of cereals and yoghurt ready for the early exit. The dogs were well catered for with a big garden to walk around. I cannot recommend this spot enough, such a lovely change from impersonal hotels.

We had a wonderfull stay, nice people, very good spacieus well-equipped room. In the morning a very good breakfast. A good start of the day. The place is a very good "stop" when you're on a trip to Ireland as we did. It is just half an hour from the harbour of Rosslare, so very interesting and highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here recently. We were met with a smile by Pauline, who couldn't have been more professional, kind and helpful. The facilities were great. The Garden room had everything, comfy bed, armchair, TV with various viewing options, modern en-suite, breakfast options, fridge, and all the necessary tea/coffee making items. The home-made lemon drizzle cake was a fantastic touch and went down very well. We would definitely stay there again if down that way. Thanks Pauline.

Most enjoyable stay. We were so well looked after by Pauline. Beautiful homemade cakes and buns, tea and coffee anytime of day. Lovely sitting room to relax and chat in. Bedrooms were fab. Bathrooms had everything you could think of. The breakfast was superb. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend Denise, Galway

Beautiful room and en suite. Even better than the photos. Big room, loads of facilities including a fridge and microwave. I made use of the coffee press (with supplied coffee). Pauline, our host was absolutely outstanding. Everything was beautifully presented and clean. On arrival she served tea with the most beautiful home made carrot cake I have ever tasted. The location is perfect for touring the south coast of County Wexford. My wife and I visited Fethard, Sal**ills and Duncannon. All beautiful spots in their own right. Upon arriving back to our garden room, our host Pauline has our stove lit. It created a fabulous homy feel and the room was toasty warm. Breakfast the following morning was EXCEPTIONAL. What a spread. Beautiful breads, cereals, jams, fresh OJ. Then Pauline served us our beautiful full cooked breakfasts, fresh tea and fresh coffee ☕️. I can’t wait to stay again. It was absolutely fabulous. 11 / 10
