American Motel

This place isn't to bad. We have stayed here for a couple of weeks. Just needs to be cleaned better and housekeepers need to completely check the rooms and make sure they get all the needle caps and burnt foils out from under the beds..

I have stayed here from 2000 to 2023 thru these years the Management has done remarkable changes and deserves a great change of desirable and secured in stay.

Lots of broken glass in the parking lot and no soap in the room, but you get what you pay for. I just wanted somewhere to sleep, wasn’t expecting the Ritz.

Bugs... bums urinating in the parkinglot.... Unsafe... building should be burnt to the ground

The room and building was very dirty. There was trash in the halways and elevator. The room hadn't been cleaned after the last occupant.

Pulled in very late due to road construction detouring our drive. As we approached, there were people all over behind the building, and what appeared to be some sort of homeless encampment. We drove through the parking lot and decided that the American Inn wasn't anywhere we'd feel safe parking our minivan, let alone bringing five kids to sleep. My bad for booking (and paying for!) the cheapest hotel I could find without thoroughly reading the reviews. Can't speak to the condition of the hotel or the cleanliness, as we didn't make it in the building. Drove across the road and got a room at the nearby Holiday Inn Express.

The staff was friendly. My balcony door was broken so i notified the front desk and itvwas fixed immediately. The problem was the bathroom was nasty , i had to clean it before i could shower. There was a lot of homeless people in the parking lot but security did run them off each evening.

I would not trust any review that gave American Motel a good rating. This hotel is absolutely horrible. It is unfortunate that 0 stars is not an option. Our night last night was an absolutely horrible experience due to American Motel. Do not waste your money or time making a reservation. We booked 3 rooms for a late night arrival at Denver International Airport. I should have known when we pulled into the parking lot and there was a man urinating on the building that this was going to be a rough night. By 1 AM we were leaving because 2 of the 3 rooms had poop (insect and animal) on the floor, and the third had bugs in the bathroom and bed with a toilet that would not work (no water in the tank even when it was turned on). We left and ended up searching for a new hotel and requesting a refund. I would save yourself the headache and not even consider this as a viable option for a hotel. The only high point was the fact that the staff was understanding (and even affirmed that they had been finding poop on the floors because people have been bringing animals into the hotel). Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.
