I had such a wonderful stay here. The sea views from rooms at the front are breathtaking - such a wide expansive view of the sea can be seen. The house is so comfortable, so bright and spacious, and has such a nice, uniform warmth to it, and the beds are so comfortable. Jane and Lily and the others are truly kind and gracious hosts running this bnb. Its location is perfect, you can be on White Rock Pier in about 5 minutes on foot. This area of the beach is spoilt for choice of lovely walkways and the surrounding area is picturesque. Even the famous White Rock can be seen from the front (common) room of this house!

Fantastic location. Karen was quick to respond when we messaged her. The suite could use a little more cleaning (dust on top of the fridge, basebords, etc) but overall, we'd stay there again.

Loved this place and the view was very nice though I think we reserved the best room in the place. City had lots of choices to eat and places to go. Room was clean, premise was clean, host was very nice.

I have only one recommendation for when I may return . It was a B and B and I would suggest some additional items to the breakfast provided . Cheese , meat ( cold slices ) and bread such as coursiant . Not a sweet bread only such as were the muffins . Also hard boiled eggs . Protein needed for the breakfast. Otherwise I shall surely return for the location , privacy . One more item - I do not watch Tv but possibly a few magazines for light reading .

It was amazing, only comment would be is to have instructions/packet for us, in the entry. We arrived and door was accidentally unlocked, so we did not have any instructions, called and said we were inside already, then received instructions. Great stay, will recommend to anyone!

Loved the room layout and the view! It was wonderful to sit on the balconey in the sun.

Would have liked booklet describing points of interest, suggestions for dining, and expectations for breakfast.

The home feels like home away from home and the hostess was so hospitable and went above and beyond to meet my needs. Highly recommend.

I wanted to treat myself & what a treat it was. Comfortable bed, great amenities & WHAT A VIEW!! WOW! Easy to park, close to restaurants & the beach. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay. No complaints. Only a couple of suggestion. Having white carpet throughout seemed very impractical as the carpet in our sitting area was very badly stained. We also could not understand why they had a baby gate to go upstairs. Seemed strange and very awkward to navigate with our luggage or parcels. Otherwise the bed was comfortable . Everything was clean. The balcony had a lovely view of White Rock and the ocean.

This property could be so great, however; it’s not a B&B if the host is not onsite or ever present. Also cats! Wall to wall carpet and an overwhelming stench of years of cat urine. Cat vomit in the entry. The cats seemed to have the run of the place. We used a code to let ourselves in. Glad neither of us had cat allergies, that would have been dangerous. Our room itself did not smell like urine, once you rant the gauntlet hallway the actual room had a great view, was well stocked with waters, muffins, yogurt, coffee. Like I said, the place has amazing potential. Get someone onsite, ditch the carpet and cats and this place is amazing

Responsive before our stay but not during. Disappointingly scant breakfast for an establishment that has Breakfast in its name. No breakfast was offered for day 2 of our stay. When I asked for black tea they suggested (pleasantly), that I buy it from the local store and didn’t respond to my multiple requests for more creamer for morning coffee, even though they live right on the premises. Some areas need attention: The window blind cord for the main view window is broken, so can't be raised. Sort of defeats the purpose of the view. Bathroom sink had a leaky faucet, toilet flush gets stuck and the shower is rickety. The room is spacious and has a cute covered balcony. But the overall impresssion was of total indifference to our needs as guests. A disappointing stay that we were looking forward to.

Very nice roon and facilities at an excellent location which is within walking distance to the beach and city cente.
