About a month ago, I booked this inn in a small American village on Ctrip for 9.30. The payment was deducted when I checked in at around 5pm yesterday and received a $50 deposit. When I woke up this morning, I received a text message from my bank that the hotel had deducted the money again at midnight US time. I had breakfast out for US$285.38. My son went back to the hotel first and asked him why they wanted to deduct my money. I had already paid the entire room fee and the hotel said it was wrong and they refunded me. When I went back to the hotel, I asked the woman at the front desk again. She said it was not charged. I showed her the text message and she said she asked the manager. I asked her to call her and go to the room. When she called, my son answered and said it was charged. The wrong deduction was made for last night's room rate and I had been refunded by the hotel. I paid an extra 1,200 for the lowest price guarantee. Of course, I have to ask Ctrip for a refund. Ctrip said that it would take a day to find an agent to handle it. They still haven’t refunded the price difference to me. They asked me to provide proof of deduction. Isn’t the bank text message bank statement evidence? Everything has been provided. If it is not a hotel deduction, I was wrong. I didn’t know that Ctrip and the agency were so shady and charged so much money. I booked so far in advance and it was 1,200 more expensive than the price of the hotel on the day. Such a small and broken place and such a broken Inn is really not worth so much money and expensive price. There is no breakfast included in the room rate

as good as before. The hotel has a quiet environment, elegant design, cleanliness, high-end and comfortable bedding, and a variety of drinks such as coffee, hot tea, sparkling water, etc. are available in the stairwell.

Great locale, very nice restaurant, great design/interiors. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back next time we visit the north half of the Berkshires.

The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. While everything was quiet and peaceful, The heat was a little loud (probably amplified due to everything being quiet). I still highly recommend it.

The Inn is a quaint and beautiful property. It reflects the New England surroundings perfectly.

Great place for a quiet getaway...restaurant on site is excellent...staff is great and helpful...can walk right into town...only complaint is bed ,while comfortable, was too low!

A lovely property with lots of spacious public areas, delightful New England interiors and welcoming staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the free coffee/tea/water was an added treat. The best place to stay in Williamstown!

Beautiful! Had delicious dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. Enjoyed having the tea and coffee bar available on our floor.

Beautiful property, perfectly maintained! Excellent meal outside on the deck! Even played a game of scrabble in the library.

The Williams Inn is lovely, inside and out. The rooms are excellent (though a barn door on the bathroom is a bad idea!) and the staff is wonderful. Super convenient to Williams and Spring Street. Very good restaurant on site.
