As it is said in the reviews, Olof Palme is a real familyhome. Where the owners Renette and her husband Dries bend over backward to make you feel like visiting family. The bed and shower, most important, are very comfortable. The breakfast is really good. But on top of that there maybe the possibility that you can join for a homecooked dinner, which is very convenient, but also yummie. It is quiet, clean and relaxed. Lovely place, lovely people. Highly recommended.

warm welcome and the perfect spot to rest before the continuation of our trip through Namibia. after a good night's sleep in a great bed were welcomed with a great breakfast and off we went but not without a thank you to our great host. joe's beer house nearby is also a perfect spot for a quick lunch.

We loved this guest house. We were warmly greeted and felt like we were staying with family. The room was comfortable and clean. Renette and Dires go the extra mile to have you enjoy your stay. Helpful with local restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend to stay with them.

Renette and Dries were so welcoming and helpful, they made us feel like family. I had left my eReader at our last stop and Dries even organized to ship it to our next stop. The guesthouse is quiet and peaceful, very clean, and relaxing. Breakfast has a nice variety of cold and hot dishes. Highly recommended

A warm welcome by Mrs Renette and her husband . This place was so quiet and clean , very good and comfortable bed . Breakfast prepared by staf was very nice and tasty . I enjoyed the fig jam :) Very nice and clean swimming pool in the hotel , very good place to stay for a family or group of friends.

Had an amazing stay here. Renette and Dries are super welcoming and make it feel like home. Staff is kind and helpful and the rooms adhere to high standards. Also, Dries cooked some of the most delicious meat I ever had!

We had the most wonderful stay at the House on Olof Palme. Renette and Dries gave us such a warm welcome and we can highly recommend staying with them before you head out on your tour. The rooms are very cozy overlooking the garden with a pool, the breakfast is set up in such a nice family atmosphere, you will truely feel at home here. We stayed in the House on Olof Palme for just one night, as a last stop before returning home. It was just a great experience: nice rooms, charming and welcoming, hosts, a super breakfast and plenty of tips for good restaurants thank you again for reserving a table in resto Stellenbosch, the steak was fabulous!), gaming possibilities (Daan Viljoen :)) and shopping! Dear Renette and Dries, thank you for your warm welcome and making our last night and day in Namibia a time we will cherish! All the Best from Belgium, Hélène, Paul and the boys.

After staying at House on Olof we would not stay anywhere else in Windhoek. The warmest of welcomes from Renette and Dries really did make us feel part of the Olof family. What super, friendly helpful hosts they are. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From booking a table at Joes Beer House, arranging a shuttle to Joes it was all done with a smile. We stayed for two nights at the start and end of our tour around Namibia. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It opened out onto a lovely relaxing patio area next to the pool. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice. We also enjoyed giving little Katte lots of fuss, a darling wee cat. Thank you Renette and Dries for welcoming us into your home, we'll be back!

Love staying here (and so much so: that I only look to stay here in Windhoek). It is so peaceful and relaxing. Renette and Driss are the ultimate hosts; and make everyone feel so absolutely welcome. I totally recommend House on Olaf Palme. Can’t wait until my next visit

What a wonderfull accomodation! It was our first accomodation during our thee week journey through Namibia. A very kind reception, very interested in our plans and our wellbeing. The accomodation was very good, the beds perfect! A good start for our holiday!

4 couples who are friends stayed at House on Olof Palme for 2 nights both before and after a safari. Renette and Dries are just lovely people who could not have been kinder, from a late night home cooked meal to even letting us leave a few items in between our stays. The accommodation is of a very high standard and very comfortable. We all loved the breakfast which was cooked to perfection. The communal areas including round the pool are lovely but the best part is definitely the warmth and hospitality of our hosts.

I had a very nice stay. They are very well coming. Room was clean and comfy. They took care in calling taxis for all the places I wanted to go in Windhoek. The place is very quiet, perfect for the start or ending of your trip to Namibia. I totally recommend stay there. I will come back for sure
