Hotels near Songyigol in Yangyang

It wasn't too big so it wasn't crowded which was nice. It was also nice to walk around Naksansa Temple early in the morning. Next time I visit, I want to go to the early morning prayer service. There is a long line for cars to enter Naksansa Temple, but it is easy to enter through the parking lot. I had to pay a separate fee for the sauna, but it would be nice if it could be used by two guests.

Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over. Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest. Amenities around the areas are sp**** as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldn’t go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore. Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly! All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there.

Wow, it was such a fun day that I had no idea how 2 days and 1 night went by. My son, who is serving in the military, will come here again when he goes on vacation in Yangyang.^^~ The swimming pool and sauna hot spring water is slippery~ I feel like my skin is getting better!!! Good!! Why is the breakfast buffet so good? The Jeju Island Lot***t buffet only has a lot of variety~ It was well-organized and the food and taste were really good. Since breakfast is included, the accommodation fee is actually this much and the quality is great!! Night Pocha ~ Wow ~ the food is also great A resort where both kids and adults can enjoy barbecue and beer until late at night~!! It was a choice I didn’t regret. My elementary school daughter is begging to come again. Haha~~^^

I had a good rest in a place with a beautiful view. Be sure to prepare food before you go. We tried to go out to Sokcho, but it rained so we decided to have a meal at the resort. The restaurant prices in the resort are too expensive.

Facilities: The room is fully equipped with refrigerator, kettle and other facilities, and toiletries are available, but you need to bring your own conversion plug. Cleanliness: good, there are no stains on the bed, but there are uncleaned hair in the bathroom Environment: Convenient to travel, close to the fish market, and you can see the sea view and the landmark Ferris wheel from the balcony. Service: Communication in English is easy, the reception staff are very nice and friendly

It was nice to be right in front of the sea, but it was disappointing that the floor level was low so I could see the Sonapu Forest in front rather than the sea. Because the maximum number of floors is low, you probably won't be able to see the sea. The Ferris wheel was visible up close and the atmosphere was refreshing at night. It was a pity that I couldn't cut and dry.

The hotel is quiet. Calm. Went on vacation with family. All liked it. But the location is far from the beach. The hotel itself is close by. But there is construction going on between the beach and the hotel. And everything is fenced. I had to bypass everything.

We (2 people) booked a superior suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an incredible view on the sea. It’s the perfect place to stay to recover from a very nasty jet lag. We slept very well, enjoying each of us our own bed and room. Maybe it was the best view I ever had lying on my bed. The hotel is huge and comes with many amenities, which are well described on the website. In October the water park is closed and the hotel is pretty quiet, which is exactly what I was expecting. I personally would not come here during busy Summer holidays. The staff is very friendly and speaks enough English for helping you to book a taxi. I was happy to be told that they don’t charge any longer a deposit on your credit card, which takes then weeks to be cleared out. Instead they charge the total amount due for your stay at check-in, which I find more convenient. From the hotel (located on a hill), you can walk (along the sea) either on the left to the long sand beach, or to the right to the port, where you will find many seafood restaurants. We ate one evening at one of the hotel restaurants (Natural Soul Kitchen). The food was delicious, refreshing and healthy. To reach the hotel, we took the bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal (Gyeonbu Yeongdong Line, next to Gangnam area). It takes around 2.5 hours. The bus departing from this terminal arrives at Sokcho EXPRESS Bus Terminal, which is close to Sokcho beach and closer to the Lotte resort. Be aware that there are 2 bus terminals in Seoul from where you can reach Sokcho. At Sokcho, there is another bus terminal further north (Sokcho INTERCITY Bus Terminal). Make sure that you depart from the same terminal where you arrived if you have return tickets. We didn’t manage to buy the bus tickets online. Apparently you need a credit card issued in SKorea to be able to process the payment. So we had to go directly to the bus terminal to buy our tickets. If you want premium seats buy them several days in advance. Even if your main interest is hiking in Seoraksan National Park, I think this hotel is the perfect « base camp », as in the morning you will wake up with this beautiful sea view and at night you will fall asleep with the sound of lapping waves. I will come back for sure. The hotel, the sea, the mountains,... I didn't expect to feel so well and so energized there.

It's nice to be able to see the sea right away. The facilities are clean and tidy. I really liked that they provided detailed guidance and explained things clearly, including parking lot usage, facility information, and directions to surrounding areas. I can't be kinder than this^^~ It was nice that the market was close and there were many good restaurants. I can see the sunrise from my room and the sea is really close, so everything is great^^~

The location was great as it was close to Sokcho Beach. The room was clean and didn't smell like cigarettes, which was even better. However, the water pressure is weak and when I turn the water towards warm water, no water comes out at all. I contacted the front desk and had it repaired. Other than the inconvenience, everything was good.
