Lovely stay! Got the matterhorn view suite and it was so beautiful! The receptionist was also very helpful with guiding us with what we can do at Zermatt! However, need to take note that their reception will only be there till 10pm. It’s actually stated but I didn’t read it so when I arrived Zermatt train station at 11pm, I panicked a little. We flag down the taxi at my own cost, 18chf for 3 people and luggages, they dont provide free taxi after 10pm. Also, the entrance door will be closed/locked after 10pm, we rang the bell and the door opened and they left the key with a letter on the counter for the check in. The breakfast place is also overlooking the Matterhorn and it’s so pretty. Stayed for only 1 night but really enjoyed my stay there!

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the station and the front desk service is friendly. The restaurant has a nice view and the service staff are very friendly. The best thing is the view from the room. It faces the Matterhorn. You can sit on the balcony and watch the scenery without wanting to go out. The hotel also has a spa and swimming pool, but we preferred hiking in the mountains and did not experience it.

The room is spacious and bright, with heating, after all, the temperature difference between morning and night is quite large. We stayed on the first floor, there are lounge chairs outside, and we walked directly to the large terrace, with an unbeatable mountain view. The Matterhorn is outside the restaurant window, and the breakfast is of high quality. The geographical location should be emphasized in particular, which can be said to be unparalleled. The best place for tourists to take photos of the Matterhorn is on the bridge next to the church, which is the main entrance of the hotel!

The hotel's location is right in the center of the town of Zermatt, making it easy to get in and out. The room was clean and tidy. Our suite could directly see the Matterhorn, but there was a building in front of it that slightly affected the view. Breakfast was also very good. We also enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool. It's just that you have to take a separate elevator to access the outdoor swimming pool.

I had a very good stay. The view was extremely beautiful. The food and service were impressive. There was free afternoon tea to eat as well. It was great.

It's really good. Every time I stay in a nice hotel, I'm afraid it will become popular. 🤣

The room has a great view, and breakfast faces the Matterhorn!

We have stayed here before. Great view of the Matterhorn from your big balcony. With chairs and a small table, and then couple chairs in the room as well that overlook the balcony and the Matterhorn. No air conditioner but does have a fresh air climate control feature, but we just open doors and windows in September. Refrigerator, typical 2 twin beds pushed together. Would be nice to have just a sheet but they have just two separate comforters, typical of Europe. Bed slept great. Breakfast is really great with a view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast staff were really nice. Happy retirement Christina. Right in the heart of Zermatt. We had a great stay once again. Thank you La Couronne!

Amazing hotel with the best service. Clean rooms with smiling and patient staff. Family owned. Quiet luxury. Lovely breakfast room and a wonderful restaurant. They arrange ski passes as well. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. No disclosures to make!!

Ski Trip with a group of friends. The room was spacious. The costumer service was excellent, The location is great. Our room had a balcony and you could hear and see the river. Also the Matterhorn mountain. They have to heated pools. the one indoor has a lot of jets and help relax after the ski days. I would prefer to be hotter but is still good. they have very nice steam rooms and saunas with different temperatures as well as clothes optional. Between 2-5 pm they provide coffee break including coffee, tea, juices and cakes. We enjoyed that a lot. Breakfast was free and really good. The bus to the gondola was really close.

An Alpine hotel, with all the comfort, very clean. Right in the heart of Zermatt thwre is this beautiful hotel. It benefits of a recently renovated and extend Spa with heated Outdoor pool facing the famous Motherhorn mountain, and with great Jacuzzi and saunas and massage. The ski room have heated lockers where you get your skies and equipment warm ready to dive into the magnificient 360km slopes of Zermatt skiing park. The breakfast is amazing and the breakfast newly high end decorated interior, flooded by the sun in the morning it is a fab experience. The staff are kind and helpful with everything. They are lots of returning clients at the hotel, which speaks for itself of guest being happy to be back. The hotel has its own ski rental. Zermatt has lots of fabulous culinary places, apres skies etc. If you want to have a quit eve the hotel offers its bar and restaurant in a rustic, Swiss style. Take a room with the Motherhorn view if budget allows. I highly reccomend it. Cant wait to get back for 9 days end of February 2024

Fabulous stay in the heart of Zermatt. Rooms are very comfortable. Service is great. Nice breakfast selection is limited, but very good quality and attentive service. Lovely modern SPA. Small quiet hotel in extremely good location. Feels cosy and not overcrowded. Will come back again.

My stay at Hotel La Couronne in Zermatt was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view of the Matterhorn from my room made every moment unforgettable. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. In the room other than you basic toiletries, coffee/tea, kettle you'll also find robes, sandals and a loaner hiking backpack (very convenient). The staff was great, very friendly and attentive adding a great personal touch to the experience. The included breakfast was very good, offering a typical European spread, they also offer the options to order your favorite coffee and some a la carte items like omelettes. The central location was a major plus, conveniently situated in the heart of Zermatt. It made exploring the town, dining at nearby restaurants, and accessing lifts to the mountains incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a shuttle to pick you up from the train station if needed, but it's only an easy 7-10 minute walk from station. Overall, Hotel La Couronne is a gem, combining comfort, stunning views, and a prime location for an outstanding 5-star stay. We'll definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will stay here again when we are back to Zermatt.

I choose the Matterhorn view room, it’s really good view from the balcony. The hotel provides a pickup service, so good for a luggage traveller. There is indoor and outdoor warm water swimming pools and spa, you can enjoying the Matterhorn view when swimming.
