Inns in Anhui, China

Wonderful hotel, quietly located in Tunxi. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. We spend 2 nights here to go to the yellow mountains which was a one hour drive one way. We had to leave one night earlier and staff was so kind to refund us that night which we hadn't asked for. The rooms are very nice and quiet comfy. I would certainly recommend this hotel and I hope to come back in the future!

The room was great, and contrary to what some might expect, the soundproofing was excellent. The service was top-notch, including pick-up and drop-off from the station. As it's their family home, it was impeccably clean and hygienic. Even though there's a family-run restaurant downstairs, the prices were incredibly fair and reasonable (no inflated tourist prices!), and the food was absolutely delicious – the owner must be a former chef! The room's location right next to the high-speed rail station was super convenient and offered lovely views. What's more, the owner even arranged rides to other destinations for free. Downstairs, they also run a small shop selling water, snacks, and even hiking poles, all at regular supermarket prices. This was incredibly convenient, saving us the hassle of searching elsewhere or bargaining.

The public areas are particularly impressive. There's a dedicated movie viewing area, roasted sweet potatoes, a free Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) changing area, and a workspace. Breakfast is also available on the third-floor balcony. This breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. While the selection wasn't extensive, the taste was excellent. The soy milk was delicious, and they also offered freshly made wontons or bamboo shoot noodles. The third-floor terrace had a fantastic view; you could see the waters of Qishu Lake. During my stay, they even offered white fungus and pear soup. On the day we left, it was so crowded we couldn't get a taxi, and the owner personally took us to the station. Overall, the hotel's decor is aesthetically pleasing. The public areas are large and spacious, the rooms are clean, and the bedding is nice and comfortable. Our family room had a view of a bamboo forest, giving us a feeling of being close to nature. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends or choose it again for my next stay.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location with excellent surrounding amenities; a large shopping mall is just across the street. What I appreciated most was the Hema Fresh supermarket inside the mall – incredibly convenient for dining. The customer service representative was very welcoming and proactively upgraded my room. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and even had a washing machine. Special praise was due to the bedding and incredibly comfortable pillows. The hotel was also impeccably clean. In short, this hotel excels in location, amenities, service, and cleanliness.

We felt incredibly fortunate to stay at Danyuan Boutique Inn. The host was very welcoming and took extra care with everything. We had great conversations, and even though we had to use translation apps, we felt like friends after just one day. His wife cooked a wonderful dinner and breakfast for us of local cuisine - it was a unique and authentic experience. This was our favourite place to stay throughout our extensive travel through China! I strongly recommend to everyone: Chinese and international travellers. Thank you!

I had an outstanding stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The service was first-class. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive and they made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. When I told them that I planned to hike 黄山 (Huangshan), they took the time to help me choose the best route based on my experience and preferences, offering valuable tips. My room itself was spacious, perfectly equipped with everything one needs and very clean. One of the highlights was the large window, which offered a beautiful view of the mountain range. Another absolute highlight is the rooftop terrace of the hotel. It is a wonderful place to relax after a long day of hiking, and it offers the best view of the mountain in the entire town. The location of the hotel is also extremely convenient, with several convenience stores and many restaurants right next to the hotel. The hotel staff can even arrange pick-up and drop-off at the next highspeed railway station with a cheaper fare than a regular taxi or a bus. I would definitely stay here again!

This guesthouse felt a bit disjointed. The exterior was very satisfactory; the old house, converted into a traditional dwelling in the quiet Bishan Village, had a particularly rustic feel. The persimmon tree in the courtyard was like a painting. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, unlike the overly salty and spicy Anhui cuisine found elsewhere. However, the rooms were somewhat basic, cramped, and slightly musty and damp. The bedding wasn't comfortable, and the hairdryer was full of debris, indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Many of the ceiling lights in the lobby were covered in cobwebs. In short, I wouldn't recommend it if you're particular about room cleanliness and facilities. However, those with less stringent requirements can enjoy the traditional house accommodations and delicious meals.

During the Spring Festival, I went to the ancient city of Huizhou for the New Year. I felt the taste of the year. The store made people feel the human touch first. I personally picked it up and helped with the luggage. The house was an ancient building and it was very chic. The boss of our room said that Zhang Guoli had lived in the film. The store sent snacks and refreshments on New Year's Eve, and also gave the child a small red envelope. It's really a home away from home for the New Year! The fish light cruise on the first night of the new year is super lively and beautiful!

The location of the inn is super good, and the panoramic view of the ancient city of Huizhou can be seen on the roof of the inn. The light and shadow of Xu Guoshifang obliquely skimmed. Yanghemen is close at hand, and the commercial street is also very cheap to eat and drink. The room was clean, well displayed, and the boss was kind. The coffee made is also delicious. The dog 🐶 is also very lively. We drove to the ancient city of Huizhou. The inn is very close to the parking lot. It is also very convenient to walk in and out of the ancient city by car. Under the horse head wall, on the blue slab, the years are long. Time in the ancient city of Huizhou is always passing by in a hurry and lingering. Worth coming again!

Overnight in Hongcun, half mountain and half water ✔ I booked this hotel while visiting Hongcun. I arrived at the scenic area at 6 PM. The hostess came with a cart to pick up my luggage. The entrance to the B&B is decorated in the Huizhou style. We booked a duplex on a last-minute basis; my friend prefers older buildings. We made do with it for one night. The highlight of this place is the terrace. From the top, you can enjoy the entire Hongcun nightscape. For the price, this hotel is quite good, and I'll also review it on the reviews page.
