Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

This is a perfect for snyone coming to this beatiful city! The staff is just wonderful, it is a family business in a family house, they always can help you, pick you up, or solve any other problem you have. Even if you don't speak chinese, dont worry they will help you! The room itself is beatiful, with great view, very clean, and bath next to window. Breakfast is full, and fresh, just cooked by the owner. In general, o dont think you can find better hotel here. Thanks for everything!

This riverside hotel is incredibly quiet, clean, and cozy. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning, especially the breathtaking night scene. It's only a two-minute walk to the Old Town Pedestrian Street, which is super convenient. Qinglong Cave Scenic Area is directly across from the balcony, just a short walk over a bridge, making it very accessible.

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!

We stayed here for a few nights. Overall, it was a positive experience. Check-in: Smooth and easy. We were greeted warmly, and upon arrival, our room was upgraded — a nice bonus. Room: Clean, with good-quality bedding. The room had everything we needed: air conditioning, towels, toiletries, bottled water, and a projector. Housekeeping was done daily and wasn't intrusive — we could stay in the room if we wanted. When we arrived, the weather was cold outside, so we slept under two blankets — it was warm enough. Hot water was sufficient for two people as long as we didn't shower for too long. Location: Very convenient — just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and the bus stop. Plenty of places to eat, grab a drink, and buy daily necessities are nearby. Noise level: We slept really well — it was quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong in the morning. There was construction going on near the hotel during our stay, but it wasn't disruptive at all; no noise in the morning or evening. Drawbacks: · There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. If you're sensitive to smoke, it's worth asking for a non-smoking room when booking. · Although the room was clean, it was clear that the hotel is a bit older — not brand new, but still well-maintained. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly option with a great location for visiting Xiaoqikong, this is a solid choice. We were happy with our stay.

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

The room was unexpected. The front desk lady provided excellent service. She also took the initiative to contact us in advance. Because we had a lot of luggage, the front desk lady also arranged for staff to pick us up and help us with our luggage. She also introduced the scenic area and gave us the tour route. The room was upgraded. The room we originally booked did not have a view. We were upgraded to a balcony view king room for free. You can see the panoramic view of the Miao village. You don't need to climb the mountain to see the panoramic view. The hotel is located in the center of the Miao village. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is especially worth recommending 👍👍👍

The landlady is very pretty, and the room was kept quite clean. The quilts and sheets had no strange smells. However, the village itself is quite damp, so there were a few small insects in the room. For this price, it's perfectly fine! The people in the village are all very kind, and the food is clean and very cheap. It's a very peaceful little village, but it won't become popular because there are no wide rivers, making it unsuitable for development.

The hotel has an advantageous geographical environment. It is just two or three hundred away from the ticket gate of Shuanghedong Scenic Area. You can get up early in the morning for a morning run. The surrounding scenery is really comfortable! The uncle in the parking lot, the hotel front desk reception, and the restaurant waiter are all very nice and enthusiastic. I have to give a thumbs up to this! The hotel's facilities are indeed old. The faucet of the sink swings back and forth and cannot be fixed. The roll holder for toilet paper is directly rotten, so I have to put the toilet paper on the toilet. The floor is tiled, wet and slippery. It is easy to slip. This must be taken seriously, especially for the elderly. Slipping is a fracture. To be honest, if you only look at the room facilities, I think it is only worth more than 200 for a room fee of more than 1,000! The breakfast is pretty good, but there is almost nothing to eat after nine o'clock, and the sauced meat buns are delicious. Because of the geographical advantage of the hotel, I think it is enough to price more than 500! More than 1,000 still needs to improve the accommodation facilities!
