In reality, it's very close and more convenient for dining and shopping than hotels like NH Collection or A Stay, which claim to be 260 meters away. "This hotel was absolutely perfect in every way! It's close to the station, and the views from the hotel were lovely, all while being a very reasonably priced stay. Luggage storage was seamless, and I really appreciated the complimentary 24-hour coffee and tea service. There's even a terrace, so I could enjoy tea while soaking in the pleasant evening breeze. "Great hotel in an old monastery church. My ”charming” room was great, especially the church windows. The bed was very comfortable. - The hotel is small but fine. There are no other hotel facilities except a small bar. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the altar area is only used for breakfast. Breakfast is of high quality, even if the choice might be somewhat greater. I enjoyed my stay and would live there again at any time if I travel to mechels again."

Rooms are dated and tired but still up to standard with all the needed amenities.
We were upgraded to an executive room on the top floor and it was a great experience with the rooftop lounge views and services exclusive to the executive rooms.
Breakfast was awesome with good salty choices and okay savory choice, but everything was of good quality.

"The hotel is beautiful and it is a favorite designer. Tonality has nothing to say, beautiful experience, especially the restaurant!
But the service staff saw that you pulled your luggage up the stairs, Gu introduced, and would not take the hand (it was numb after staying in Europe for a long time). The attitude is very good and the service experience is average.
The heating water was very loud at night, and I fell asleep when it was turned off. I went to the front desk to pick up the bathrobe once, because the front desk refused to send it after 22:00 (hahahaha Trip.com and be an old mother to solve it)"

"It was a unique hotel. Green surroundings, yet right in the middle of the city. We had high tea, which was very good. The only minor drawback was that the sweets were all white chocolate mousse, so a bit more variety in the sweet options would have made it even better for us. Something like a macaron or a praline, for example, but otherwise, no complaints.
Breakfast was amazing. I'm not sure if I'd say it was worth 60 euros per person, but it was very good.
The service was also excellent. They even walked us to our room. We were given an accessible room, though I'm not sure why, but an adjustable bed wasn't a bad thing at all."

We stayed at Leonardo Plaza Antwerp on 23 April 2026 and booked a room for three people, with our daughter sleeping on the sofa bed. At check-in around 4 PM, reception already mentioned the sofa bed might not be prepared and asked us to let them know if bedding was missing so they could arrange it.
When we arrived in room 72, there was indeed no bedding or towels for a third person. We reported this at reception around 5 PM and were assured it would be taken care of. After attending a concert, we returned to the hotel at 11:45 PM, only to find nothing had been arranged. Bedding still had to be brought to the room, which took another 30 minutes.
Because our daughter was exhausted, she had already fallen asleep in the double bed, so one of the adults ended up sleeping on the sofa bed once it was made up. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It felt like it needed a mattress topper.
That was disappointing, especially since the issue was known and reported well in advance. That said, the room itself was otherwise very good and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the missing bedding and uncomfortable sofa bed were a real letdown and affected our overall experience.

Guest UserVery close to Antwerp Central Station. If you take the south exit and walk south for about a minute, you'll see the hotel across the street. The front desk staff were very friendly. The room had a fridge and a kettle, but the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, and the seam in the middle was uneven. It's about a 10-20 minute walk to the city center, and there's a Metro (which is actually a tram) under the train station that goes to the city center.

Guest UserThey said it was right next to the train station, but you still have to walk a bit, which is tough when you're dragging luggage.
The hotel isn't big, and once inside, there were a lot of chaotic scenes, which was a bit irritating to look at.
First, they said they didn't have toothbrushes and told us to go buy our own. Then they found one, but they only provided one set of toiletries for two people, and no slippers at all. My friends, if you come later, remember to bring your own.
I'm not sure if it's because I booked through Trip.com, but the room they gave us was indeed the first one on the second floor, right by the elevator. I figured it was just for one night, so I let it slide.
The breakfast was decent, with baked sweet potatoes and roasted potatoes, which tasted good. There were also some small cakes and dorayaki, and you could even make your own waffles.

Wij verbleven 2 nachten in een kamertype: studio. We kwamen vroeger aan dan de voorziene check-in tijd maar werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. We konden ons omkleden en de bagage werd veilig bewaard aan de receptie (en nadien door een medewerker naar de kamer gebracht). Via een persoonlijke SMS werden we op de hoogte gebracht wanneer de kamer klaar was. Aangezien we toen niet meer in het hotel waren werd de code en procedure duidelijk uitgelegd om later vlot in te checken via huisnummer 115. De studio was ruim en voorzien van alles zoals voorgesteld tijdens de reservatie. Voor de rokers is er een ruime aparte 'patio'. Hier kan je rustig roken en je eigen drankje consumeren zonder de 'niet-rokers' te storen. Zowel in de kamer, kitchenette en badkamer was de hygiëne prima. Op de gang is er tevens een automaat met enkele drankjes, snoep, chips, tandenborstel,... voorzien. Dit hotel voldeed ruimschoots aan alle verwachtingen van een 3-sterren product. Het uitchecken verliep vlot en wederom hartelijk en vriendelijk. In de kamer was het geluid van de straat wel hoorbaar maar dat wisten we op voorhand gezien de ligging van het hotel (bij een volgende reservatie vragen we misschien een kamer aan de binnenzijde). Een hotelkamer in het echte centrum van de stad heeft dan weer andere geluiden. Het hotel is bijzonder gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het centraal (trein)station en op 20 minuten te voet ben je in hartje Antwerpen. Bij een volgende uitstap naar Antwerpen zal onze keuze snel gemaakt zijn en kiezen we voor Arass Hôtel & Business Flats.

Anonymous UserI really liked this hotel; it absolutely met my expectations. The (small) gym was a definite bonus for me, especially since I didn't even know it was there when I booked! Ultimately, for my specific trip, the hotel's location was slightly less convenient than another option I had in mind, but certainly not bad at all – just in comparison. This also had to do with having to change my transport to Antwerp at the last minute, which had nothing at all to do with the hotel, but rather with the trains from Rotterdam.

Anonymous UserReally like this serviced apartment a lot, with a nice aesthetic design. Room was large enough for me (1 bed apartment with sofa, apparently the sofa is given as a room upgrade over the room type I booked so it can be a little misleading when booking). I stayed at Quellin Apartment block so it requires a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but the apartments in Quellin seem to be larger than the ones in the Frankrijklel block. Having heavy lugagge will not be convenient if staying in Quellin block, given there are steps between both blocks and the wheelchair lift has yet to be repaired. Towels, tea/coffee and toilet rolls are free to take from Level 1 Essentials room. If you can’t remember your PIN code, you can use the Numa app to open the entrance and room doors, just that the PIN code is still required for the lifts. It will be more ideal if room slippers are provided. Overall, I had a comfortable stay especially given it is near many supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Jumbo; while Lidl is just downstairs), steps away from Opera underground tram station, walkable to Antwerpen-Centraal Station, and walkable to Groenplaats.
