"The hotel's location was an unexpected delight! It's right across from the cable car station, making trips to Sun Island incredibly convenient. There's also a subway station just across the street, and Central Street is only a ten-minute walk away. The restaurant was another highlight, impressively staying open until midnight. It's fantastic, with a great atmosphere and excellent facilities. The food goes beyond typical breakfast offerings – they have Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork), boiled shrimp daily, and even freshly pulled and cooked Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant staff even prepared yogurt with cute designs for the children. The room was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, perfectly accommodating our entire family. Highly recommended!"

"I booked the basic room type through Ctrip for 90 yuan. The room was on the basement level, requiring a walk down stairs. The room was large and spacious, but it was surrounded by walls, had no windows, and no connection to the outside. Don't expect an upgrade to a room with a window or on an upper floor if you book the basic room type through Ctrip. My companion had a leg injury and was limping in and out, but still had to climb the stairs to the basement level. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with elderly people, sick individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. Late check-out isn't allowed; you must check out by 12 PM. Late check-out costs 35 yuan per hour, clearly priced. Ctrip also doesn't offer their own extended check-out until 2 PM. We stayed in room 9 on the basement level. The air conditioning wasn't working well; the buttons wouldn't activate it. The joint between the bathroom and the main room was damaged, and my companion slipped there after it got wet, though thankfully wasn't injured."

"This new hotel is quite clean, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Both the front desk and housekeeping always greet you politely and proactively. The complimentary hotel afternoon tea was excellent, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would go to each table to ask if you'd like 'Guobaorou' (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce), and the daily fruit and cookies were also very nicely presented. The room size was a bit small, but aside from that, the location is superb. After booking, staff contacted us to inquire about our arrival time and prepared children's slippers in advance. Our two rooms were also arranged together, which was very convenient for a large family traveling together. The hotel's location is also great, just a 1-2 minute walk to Central Avenue. It's also very close to the airport bus stop. Overall, a very good experience, highly recommended!"

The room was super clean and the music in a bathroom was nice as usual, but the most unbelievably incredible things was that I got an upgrade from the guys in the reception. "Our family of three traveled to Harbin during the Dragon Boat Festival. Since our daughter wanted to visit the Siberian Tiger Park, we booked this five-star hotel nearby. Although it's a bit far from the city center in Songbei, the hotel generally exceeded our expectations. First, the doorman was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy. What surprised us most was the incredible water pressure in the shower, even on the seventeenth floor; showering was incredibly comfortable. We've stayed in a few five-star hotels these past few days, and this one had the best shower experience by far. Also, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any outside noise. The view from the window was also lovely, as the hotel is right next to the Songhua River."

"## Amenities: The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel. ## Cleanliness: The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering. ## Ambiance: I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet. ## Service: Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*. ▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online. ▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*. ▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!) ● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. "The hotel staff lacked attentiveness, and the room was poorly equipped. There were no tote bags, sewing kits, or children's toothbrushes provided. Usually, when guests check in with children, the front desk proactively asks if they need kids' toothbrushes and slippers. This hotel neither offered nor provided them in the room. Furthermore, there's a sofa bed in the room. When I called the front desk to ask how to use it, they did send someone to open it for me, but without sheets or blankets. This is a common issue the front desk should anticipate. When a guest inquires about the sofa bed, they should proactively ask if bedding is needed to avoid the guest having to call room service for this reason. The room service staff, an older gentleman, arrived with a stern look and snapped, 'Anything else?' Who calls room service for fun? It's simply the hotel's own service falling short!"

The environment is lovely, and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful, offering excellent and attentive service. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

GGuest UserHighly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review: ✈️ LOCATION: (10/10) - It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB). - There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app. - The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly. 🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10) - Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks. - However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after. 🍲 FOOD: (?/10) - I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭 🌸 VIEW: (10/10) - Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc. - However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport. All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

GGuest UserThe front desk service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The breakfast spread was very diverse and satisfying. The hotel has a simple, photogenic style, and the bedding was spotless. Its location is super close to Central Avenue. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.
