The newly renovated monastery is a historic building and a special place. There is an entrance to the hotel from the underground parking garage Oda. There is a good restaurant with tasty food.
There are no bottles of water in the room. According to the receptionist, the water from the tap is drinkable. However, we couldn't find any information about it in the room. There is scale in the kettle. Although this is a common occurrence in most hotels.
There are also no toiletries. For a hotel of this category, this would be expected.
We had three delicious days in this charming boutique hotel. No superfluous luxury, but just that authentic and cute feeling that it makes it so pleasant. The family room was surprisingly spacious enough place to meet just after a day in the city. The bed was beautiful, and the atmosphere in the room felt home and relaxed.
We did not use breakfast because we would like to move back to the city to enjoy the many fun coffee and bakeries in Maastricht.
There were a few small things that could better (such as a missing remote control and a safe that didn't want to open), and check-in is going to be completely digital without physical contact just used to but finally very handyly arranged.
The city itself and the concert of the Bente ** in the music guitar
A place where we'd come back for a pleasant weekend away.
The hotel is in a great location. Service was by nice friendly staff.
Bath + sink in the room is very weird and shouldn't be. Later I saw you can choose separate bathroom room. For 1 night it was ok. Breakfast was very minimal.
Great large room
Directly opposite the Maastricht station and bus station
Walking distance to spa grocery store and 15mins walk to city centre
Stairs to reception, no lift to reception - not good for disabled people - apparently the other entrance was locked but it has a platform for wheelchair accessibility to the reception/dining room and the lift to other levels. That would have been helpful instead of dragging my suitcase and backpack up about 10 steps to reception. Not good for disabled people with heart condition and brain injury and balance issues. There was no buzzer to call for assistance and couldn't leave suitcase on the street. They need to provide instructions to guests with disabilities to proceed to the other locked door and have a buzzer on that door.
Other than that everything was great

I stayed for one night to go to the cave Christmas market.
The back part of the church was just renovated and it was beautiful and clean.
It is within walking distance from the station and from the city center.
Breakfast was simple but delicious, open and light at night I used the bar, but the staff were professional and comfortable.
I will use it if I have a chance to go again.
Not bad. The style is like “ The Student Hotel”, neat, modern and tidy. Walking distance to city center, cave and Thermae 2000.
I brought my own extra blanket as I m sensitive to coldness.
We had a very nice weekend . Hotel is near the center, the evening dinner , breakfast was delicious . The facilities such as swimming pool, sauna fitness are there. Jacuzzi in the room daughter of 6 years old calls the golden hotel. The next time we come to Roermond, we'll certainly be going to book here again.
Very nice and nice hotel located in the centre.
Friendly staff
Breakfast is simple, but delicious and sufficient. (scrambled egg and bacon is cooked for you)
Also very important.. the coffee.. nice!!
I missed a refrigerator.
I would also consider going back here if I stay in Maastricht.

Very Good
GGuest UserI booked a room with two double beds, one on top and one on the bottom, and the space was very clean and comfortable.
Pros:
1. Free hot water and tea bags provided.
2. Breakfast options seemed limited, but it was tastier and cleaner than convenience store food.
3. Most areas were very clean, with no strange odors.
4. The location was very convenient.
Cons:
1. The duvet and pillow had a slight smell and yellow stains. Luckily, clean duvet covers and pillowcases were provided, but the downside was having to put them on myself. After putting them on, the smell was much better.
2. The faucets in the shared bathroom were hard to turn, and there weren't many shelves, which was a bit inconvenient. However, it was a wet/dry separation bathroom, so showering was a little challenging but acceptable.
3. The shared kitchen and refrigerator were incredibly smelly; I would absolutely not use them.
4. Soundproofing was poor.
5. No elevator.
More suitable for short stays of up to 3 days.
IIneke HaijerI was in Maastricht with my daughter for a few days. I had reserved a room with 2 twin beds. There appeared to be a double bed in the room. After asking at reception we were given another room. It would be nice if there were 2 chairs instead of 1 in a double room. Moreover, we missed cupboard space for our clothes and a cupboard or shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries. We put them on the ground. When we returned to the room at about five o'clock after a day of walking in the city to sit quietly and drink a cup of coffee, it turned out that the room had not yet been cleaned. After reporting to reception, we received a voucher for a drink in the hotel bar. Nicely resolved. The location of the hotel was fine, it was quiet. Staff at reception and service in the bar were nice.
GGuest UserOur TV did not work. Batteries and technical service were/was not available because we checked in after 6 pm. Reported at check-out. Answer: thanks for reporting and sorry for that. However, no compensation or a cup of coffee for the inconvenience. Very disappointing. You book a room with facilities and then you want to use them. We did not make a fuss about it, it is not worth it, but it is a shame. Otherwise a great hotel!
AAnne LiekeBeautiful exterior, but the interior feels very dated. The whole place would benefit greatly from some investment. Economy rooms resemble dorms: creaky floors (charming at first, but disruptive at night with people using the shared toilets), sagging mattresses, a broken bedside light, only one chair, no decorations, and no ceiling light. I realize we booked an economy room, but this felt extremely basic. On the first night, a party went on until 1:30 am. Guests should be informed in advance, and events shouldn’t run so late if the property also functions as accommodation. It’s also a shame that tours of the abbey come at an extra fee; this could easily be included for guests. Overall, the place feels more focused on making money than investing in guest experience. Lots of potential, but currently disappointing.

AArt ProjektThe hotel is visible to have a small repair! Overall not bad. The location is good and parking places are enough. A great place to stay near Weeze Airport.
ДДИTIЭЯI recently stayed at a hotel and wanted to share my thoughts. It was a pretty decent place for the price. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, especially if you're visiting Maastricht University. While it may not have fancy extras, it's a solid choice if you want a budget-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort.
MmastergonIt takes about 15 minutes on foot from the outlet and parking is easy.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast, although not very varied, is not bad.
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and you can conveniently use the outlets.
Good place to use
GGuest UserGood stay near Valkenberg station, but tight for early conference goers
The hotel is conveniently located near Valkenberg station. My room was nice and clean. I especially liked the leather chair – it's soft but still firm enough to sit and work for long periods, which was perfect for me.
Breakfast was good, even though the variety was somewhat limited. However, breakfast starts at 7:00 AM. Since I had a conference at MECC (about a 14-minute walk plus a 20-minute train ride), I had to rush every morning to get there on time. If you have an early start, just be aware of that.
Overall, a pleasant stay if your schedule allows a bit more flexibility in the morning.
