I had a very satisfying stay here, with a rich breakfast and excellent service.
Location: It's near Bergen Central Station, with moderate distances to major transportation and attractions. If you exit the north side gate of the central station, it's right in front of you. The south side of the station is for the airport light rail. It's about a ten-minute walk to the bus terminal, and only fifteen to twenty minutes on foot to the cruise port. All transportation is very convenient.
Cleanliness: You generally don't need to worry about cleanliness in Nordic countries, and the room was very clean. However, please note that room cleaning is on request, and you need to inform the front desk a day in advance. Also, trash needs to be taken to the front desk yourself or you can ask them to clear it. A slight inconvenience.
Environment: The room size was decent, much more comfortable than what you'd find in Japan. However, in October, the room temperature was a bit cold, and it rains a lot in Bergen, so I had to ask staff for an electric heater. (P.S.: The panel in the room is not for air conditioning or heating; it's just a temperature monitor).
Also worth mentioning is the breakfast; it was incredibly abundant, and the variety was good. You could eat different things for two days without repetition. In Norway, this breakfast was the best meal I had every day đ. If you're catching a flight, you can ask the kitchen to prepare a takeaway, but it's limited to one sandwich and one apple.
Service: Very thoughtful and attentive. The front desk is 24/7 and they were very responsive to all requests. Full marks for service!
Other: Downstairs from the hotel is a restaurant and bar, which seemed to be packed every night. Worth trying if you get the chance.

Functional and serves its purpose. My room was bigger compared to some.other rooms I saw.
Bed was satisfactory. I had a good night sleep save for some bouts of jetlag. The room thermostat was hovering somewhere between 22 and 23.5. I can't seem to figure out how to adjust.
The only thing I was not happy about was the bathroom. It was clean, spacious BUT the water splashes in the bathroom floor making it wet most of the time. They don't provide sleepers so you step out of the bathroom with wet feet. No bath mat.
Actually, there was a glass wall for the shower stall but there's a gap at the bottom... So water will splash and flow beyond the shower stall. See photo.
Another thing I don't like: They keep reminding you that they are a low cost hotel to justify the lack of warm hospitality. For example, 'We don't have TV in the rooms to keep the cost down!' 'We only clean your every 4 days to keep the vost down!'. 'We don't change towels daily to keep the cost down!' Annoying.
I chose this hotel for its location - train station, park, grocery, Asian food. I am not looking for budget hotels just because I'm travelling solo.
I can recommend this place but don't expect too much. After all, you'll always be reminded that they are keeping the cost low.

The room was quite spacious, ideal for family trips. The design showed some thoughtful touches, and it appeared to have been recently renovated, with the sofa bed already made up. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just 20 meters from the fish market and the pier, which is incredibly convenient. However, the bathroom design proved to be very impractical in use. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would flood, leaving my slippers floating, and the sink also drained very poorly.
The room felt like a basic express hotel, offering only the bare minimum. There's no coffee maker or kettle, and the bed only had two pillows and a duvet â no extras whatsoever. Its main selling point is its extreme proximity to the airport; you can literally see the hotel's sign from inside the terminal building. Another positive is the breakfast, which surprisingly offers hot food starting as early as 5 AM. However, if you're staying here purely to save money and not for the convenience of an early flight, then taking the light rail to the city center every day is definitely not worth the time or effort.

The location is very wonderful, the breakfast and the high-class treatment of the staff and services. The cleanliness is lacking, it needs a simple touch, and the bed and pillows need to be reviewed, otherwise everything is wonderful. The staff and restaurant crew are very wonderful.
Location and view are amazing. Itâs few stops from city Center and convenient located just 2 mins away from the metro. The view from the room is harbor and boat, you can enjoy a nice sunset just at the hotelâs bar. grocery mart is few mins walk and there are few bakery nearby for breakfast as well. Staff are super friendly.

The hotel is very close to the stations and tourist spots so very easy to get by. Hotel is nice with good breakfast. The single room I stayed is on the top floor and the elevator can be a bit slow and the seagulls are quite noisy. Also there is construction nearby and you can hear quite big noice in the morning.

We stayed one night. Staff are all very helpful. The rooms comfortable and breakfast was all we needed. A good quiet atmosphere and well situated but not at the correct harbour for our cruise, but good for wandering around and just near the funicular railway for excellent views of this area. Taxi fares like everything here in Norway 2-3 times typical UK price.

The hotel was very close to my drop off point. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries. Although there was no hot drink facilities in the room there was a free tea/coffee machine in the reception area. I was only there for 1 night so not fully aware of their facilities but there was plenty of hot and cold choice for a free breakfast and also glutten free food on offer and a room to leave your luggage.
Beautiful looking hotel with plenty of parking spaces and Western breakfast is an ideal stop for a break. Convenient to nearby famous attractions such as Eagle Road and geiranger.

MMalenikeleixiThe location is excellent, right by the pier, making it incredibly convenient for a relaxed stay. It's truly in the heart of the city, with seafood markets and restaurants just downstairs. The only drawback was that the main elevator was quite small, so I often had to walk up and down the stairs, which was a bit tiring. Everything else was perfect.
JJian_jizhiThe location is excellent. Strolling around at sunrise and sunset offered pleasant surprises and was incredibly relaxing. It was lovely to see people casually jump into the sea for a swim, which added to the laid-back atmosphere. The fish market was bustling with people, but I opted not to join the crowds.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location! Adjacent to the colorful fishing houses, the corner sea view room has windows on both sides, and you can see the panoramic view of Bryggen. The hotel itself is a historical building and an early port office. There is no need to set a wake-up alarm, because there are seagulls knocking on the window on time every morning đ. The front desk service attitude is very good, but the actual room cleaning efficiency is a bit low, and it needs to be reminded. The free dinner is an unexpected surprise.
AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.
GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a former stock exchange with a certain sense of design, but the rooms are rather cramped. The breakfast restaurant is beautiful. If you stay, you must add breakfast. The hotel is located within a 6-minute walk from cable cars, hot chocolate, piers and other attractions. You can park your car at the door of the hotel to unload your luggage and check in, but the parking lot is actually quite far away, 7 minutes by car, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk back to the hotel.
