The decor was simple and the hotel is quite old, but impeccably clean. The pools are very nice and well maintained and it's right on the beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's at the top end of Batu Ferringhi, so further away from the night market and restaurants than some of the other hotels - but still comfortably walkable. Breakfast option is good with a scope of improvement. The quality of food is amazing! To sum up, I really had a good time here.
