Xinjiang Travel | A 1-year-old baby comes to Kanas~

I'm still fascinated by the tranquility of Kanas Old Village. I came to Kanas alone five years ago and stayed in the Old Village. Five years later, I came again with my partner and child, and it feels just the same—still eating at the Taiga Restaurant, still lots of kittens and dogs around. 🏡 This time we stayed at Jian Shan Hai Homestay, which has one of the few family rooms in Kanas. Parking is very convenient with spaces right at the door. It's perfect for self-driving trips, no need to drag suitcases through the snow. The two-story wooden cabin is perfect for a big family with kids like us. The room has floor heating and an electric blanket, so you could say we were woken up by the warmth in the middle of the night. In the freezing snow, the cabin is warm and cozy, truly a feeling of happiness. This homestay has many kittens, not sure if they are pets or free spirits, but they kept coming to our window, all very gentle and cute. The two kids were overjoyed. A black cat kept accompanying Mianmian, following her around; maybe because Mianmian was wearing a black down jacket the same color, they got along very well. Kanas Old Village remains so peaceful and beautiful. Watching the children run and play in the snow, I finally understand this saying: having seen the snow in Altay, you realize that "pure white" is not just an adjective, but a kind of beauty you can truly feel.
