Changchun Jingyuetan Sheraton | A Generous Suite Makes It a Great Hotel!

On a business trip to Harbin, I took a detour to Changchun by plane and stayed one night at the Changchun Jingyuetan Yitian Sheraton. Here’s the conclusion: Pros: Excellent value for money! Very generous suite upgrade, good breakfast and lounge offerings, quiet environment. Cons: Location is a bit remote, facilities are old. The hotel is next to the Provincial Museum, with Line 6 from Changchun West Station going directly to the hotel entrance, about a 40-minute subway ride. The location is somewhat remote, and it takes about 40 minutes by taxi from the airport, but the advantage is fewer people and a very quiet environment, so the experience is great! Opposite the hotel are the Provincial Museum and Science and Technology Museum, and nearby is Changying Century City. I asked in advance about a room upgrade, and the next day I checked the app and was directly upgraded to a suite. The suite upgrade was really generous. The room I stayed in had quite a few corners, and the maintenance of the facilities was just average, but since I got the suite upgrade, none of the drawbacks matter when considering the absolute value for money!!! The lounge and breakfast offerings are on point, with plenty of chicken breast, friendly for those on a diet! The lounge has two meat dishes, two vegetable dishes, two staple foods, plus a wide variety of desserts and drinks—I especially loved the white peach juice! The breakfast quality is also good, and with fewer people, it doesn’t feel like a big cafeteria. It’s really quiet and perfect for relaxing! The gym and pool are on the basement level. The gym also has a dance room that can be used for dancing or yoga, which is pretty nice. I think it’s very suitable for friends from the south who want to visit the northeast in winter, especially those who have stocked up on 8-night white room vouchers and have no hotel options in Harbin. Flying to Changchun first to have some fun is also a good choice!
