Edelweiss of Alun - Alun Surya Kencana

A must visited campsite in Mount Gede is Surya Kencana. Needs 6-8 hours from mountain feet to Surya Kencana. This campsite is surrounded by Edelweiss flower (anaphalis javanica). Hikers are prohibited to pick this flower because it's conserved and only found above 2000 metre height. Only need 30 minute - 1 hour to see sunrise on the mountain peak from surya kencana. Cibereum hotspring is an additional gift for hikers when they go down from mountain and want to relax for a while.
