Glacier National Park

The Rocky Mountains, known as the "continental divide" in North America, run through the center of the park from north to south. On the relatively dry eastern slopes, Engelmann spruce, subalpine fir, lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and western white pine stand tall and straight. On the warmer and more humid western slopes, the park is covered with dense and lush larch, fir and spruce. There are also many kinds of animals in the park, such as bighorn sheep, mountain lions, coyotes, lynx, elk, moose, black bears, grizzly bears, white-tailed deer, and so on.
