Although traces of winter still lingered in early September, the sight of daffodils and crocuses sprouting across the lawns, heralding the arrival of spring, was striking. The well-preserved historic buildings and lush gardens blended together to create a quaint atmosphere. The September TravelGrant allowed me to experience the special beginning of a new season in this historic space.
