4 days in Hanoi for under 500 SGD

#asiabudgetchallenge Budget: 500 SGD per person including accommodation and flight Top tip: plan early! Visit Hanoi on a budget with these easy steps: 1. Book flights far in advance so that you can take advantage of airline sales 2. Book flights + hotel at the same time via Trip.com where possible to take advantage of the discounted rate offered 3. Street food is your best friend! Hanoi street food is very safe to eat and often includes sharing portions that can be cheaper per person than individual meals. Look out for places with stools on the ground rather than conventional tables and chairs 4. Bargaining is the norm at the market, which is a great way to save money on shopping and/or food purchases like fruit or snacks 5. Use ride sharing apps like Gojek and Uber instead of hiring conventional taxis 6. Take the chance to visit places nearby like Ha Long Bay and Sapa! That saves you a future plane ticket #travel #thingstodo #localfood
