Xuchang Chunqiu Building

Xuchang Chunqiu Building Chunqiu Building is a key cultural relics protection unit in Henan Province. Located in Wenmiao Qian Street, Weidu District, it was first built in the first year of Yuan Yanku (1314), and has been repeatedly renovated. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it formed a 'two-yard British style' layout. Most of the buildings were destroyed by war, and only Chunqiu Building remained. In 1995, the Xuchang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government carried out a comprehensive renovation, basically restoring the 'two-yard British style' layout. Now on the central axis, there are the mountain gate (the original city temple mountain gate), Chunqiu Building and Guan Sheng Temple in order. To the east is a separate courtyard with the Hanging Seal Gold Hall, Wen'an Pavilion, and Ganmi Second Palace. It is connected to Xuchang Confucius Temple in the west. There are more than ten tablets such as the 'Spring Bamboo Picture' in the courtyard.
