Among the many temples in China, the Hanging Temple on Mount Heng can be described as a wonderful architecture and a marvel of ingenuity. From a distance, the Hanging Temple always gives people a sense of unattainable suspension. This temple hanging in mid-air gives a sense of precariousness, which is indeed quite scary. It is said that the Hanging Temple was built in the late Northern Wei Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,500 years. It has been safe and sound for more than 1,500 years, which makes people have to admire the wisdom and hardworking hands of ancient craftsmen. Looking up from under the temple, you can see that the architectural complex of the Hanging Temple is built on the base of the cliff rock for the cave and the wood for the beam. All the temple buildings are supported by wooden pillars embedded in the rock wall at one end and supporting the entire temple at the other end. The force point of the building is on the pulling force of the inserted beam and the supporting force of the wooden rod at the bottom, which is amazing.
