DON CA ARCH BRIDGE - Hue
Intro - Don Ca arch bridge is located modestly at the foot of Hai Van pass, surrounded by the green color of wild mountains. Unlike other Hue tourist destinations, this ancient bridge is completely separate from the noisy atmosphere in the city, making anyone who comes here does not want to leave. Getting There - Don Ca arch bridge is located on the Hai Van railway line, which is the natural boundary between Da Nang and Hue. Without the hustle and bustle of people, the ancient bridge, over a century old, is embraced by the green of the mountains and forests, making the space more peaceful and quiet. Although located next to the ruins of Don Ca and Bac Hai Van station, this place is less known because of the difficult road and difficult location to find. Highlights - Don Ca arch bridge is located on Hai Van pass, this pass is the separation between the tropical climate in the South and the temperate climate in the North. That is why when you come to Hai Van pass, you will admire the impressive natural scenery running along the way. Especially to mention Don Ca arch bridge, surely you will be stunned by the beautiful scene like a movie when coming here. Around the bridge is a lush green forest, fresh air and murmuring streams, rustling leaves and chirping birds create a colorful natural symphony. TRINH BAOA daredevil's ride up Hai Van Pass, Da Nang
Winding roads and heart-stopping U-turns, intimidating cliffs and single-lane loops. These are what you'll experience riding up and down the legendary Hai Van Pass. The Hai Van Pass is a dragon-shaped 21km stretch of road through the mountains, connecting Da Nang to Lang Co. It takes travellers through the Annamite Range that protrudes into the sea. Throughout the 1-hour ride, there is no shortage of stunning views of the surrounding mountains and coastline. From central Da Nang, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the start of Hai Van Pass. Expect a long but scenic ride before you reach Deo Hai Van, a beautiful, old fortress/tower. Unfortunately as of Jan 2023 it is still under conservation work. If you have the time, continue on and you'll reach Lang Co, a town famous for fresh seafood. Expect corners with a steep drop down and lots of thrilling sharp turns - perfect for daredevils. Tips for conquering the Hai Van Pass: 1. Do NOT attempt if you have no motorcycling experience/confidence. Hire a private driver. 2. Always slow down when approaching sharp corners and blind spots. 3. Stay alert for hazards such as roadworks and sand. 4. Wear a sunglass or riding goggles. The Hai van pass is a scenic route from Da Nang and Hue. Getting there- The trip takes around 3-5 hours (depending on how many photos you stop for). Motorbikes can be rented from numerous hotels and tour operators. - If you are not confident driving a motorbike, you can hire a driver, or alternatively you can do the journey in a jeep. - the company we used delivered our luggage to our hotel we stayed at when we arrived so we didn’t have to carry it on the bikes What to see?- Beaches, farms, mountain scenery, breathtaking views. Food and drink- there are some restaurants and cafes on route which are more expensive due to their location on the popular tourist trail

#tripblazers The last monarch dynasty of Vietnam is also the dynasty ruled by the Nguyen royal family. This tomb belongs to the second last Emperor Khai Dinh of Vietnam, who ruled Vietnam from 1916 to 1925. The tomb was not completed upon his death, but only in 1931 during Emperor Bao Dai's reign who is also the last Emperor of Vietnam. The mausoleum is mainly designed based on the porcelain art with the statue erected directly above his tomb. Due to the modern times of his reign, his tomb is mainly designed based on Neoclassical, Baroque and Gothic elements. The tomb is also listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Site together with other structures within the Hue complex.

From Hue city center, you move west to Hanoi road, then go to Ngo Quyen street, continue in the direction of Dien Bien Phu and Minh Mang streets to reach Khai Dinh Hue mausoleum. Attractions - 1. Tam Quan Gate Tam Quan Gate stands out with its majestic and superficial architecture, is the entrance to visit Khai Dinh Hue Tomb, you will need to step through the first 37 steps to get there. The pillars at the Tam Quan gate area were built in the Hindu style, showing the unique cultural and architectural interference between Vietnam and India. 2. Nghi Mon and Bai Dinh yard From Tam Quan gate, you continue 29 steps to reach Nghi Mon area and Bai Dinh courtyard, there, you will be overwhelmed to admire the statues of courtiers and soldiers lined up in four symmetrical rows. Explore Thien Dinh Palace at Khai Dinh Tomb After going through the leveling floor (3rd and 4th floor) inside Khai Dinh Hue mausoleum, you will reach Thien Dinh Palace, located on the 5th highest floor, where the body of King Khai Dinh is buried, and also the place where King Khai Dinh is buried. It is the longest built, most expensive, most sophisticated and the strangest of all 7 royal tombs in Hue. This historical attraction is accessible by every vehicle. We rented a motorbike going there since it is the most convenient and cheaper way in Vietnam. The weather was chilly which was comfortable to explore Hue City. A unique Dragon Structure in Vietnam
Hồ Thủy Tiên (Thuy Tien Lake) is a smallish natural lake located about 8km south of Hue’s Imperial City. An old entertainment complex that nowadays is abandoned. Here you can find the famous dragon structure. The park is currently open and unattended – we had no trouble moving around as we wished. You can even climb a staircase to the top of the dragon’s head. The entrance fee is around 1$ each, no proper tickets are given, since is not a legal activity. The guard that should take care of the area accepts 1$ to let you visit the dragon. #Vietnam #hue

#vietnamtrip I recently visited the Tomb of Khai Dinh in Hue and was absolutely captivated by its stunning architecture. The blend of Eastern and Western styles creates a unique and majestic atmosphere. The intricate mosaics inside are breathtaking, showcasing incredible craftsmanship.
