Dataran Merdeka!

Independence Square (Malay: Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. A historical place where Malaysia independent announced. On the midnight of 31 August 1957, the Union Jack went down and the Malayan Flag was raised here for the first time. This is also why the square is called Independence Square. Every year, the Independence Day celebrations are held here. Walk from petaling street about 15-20mins Will passby pasar seni. Happened to be closures of road (I visited during Sunday) Go there earlier to avoid the crowd and HOT SUNNY Weather. Too bad the night was raining day.
