Leizhou West Lake

I learned about the existence of a West Lake in Leizhou last year when I was writing the story of our famous person from the Ren family, Ren Boyu. Ren Boyu and nine other virtuous people from the Song Dynasty were demoted to Leizhou, and they were called the 'Ten Virtuous Men' by the people of Leizhou, who built a shrine to commemorate them, which is the Ten Virtuous Men Shrine. When I came to Leizhou West Lake, I wanted to pay my respects to the Ten Virtuous Men Shrine and trace the footsteps of the virtuous people, but unfortunately, all the ancient buildings in Song Garden, where the Ten Virtuous Men Shrine is located, have become dangerous buildings and are under repair, so I couldn't get in, which was a great regret. Fortunately, the Su Gong Pavilion is still there, allowing me to reminisce about Su Dongpo's open-minded but also helpless mood when he 'came to the sea country after traveling thousands of miles, and remembered Hangzhou with the same rural scenery'.
