Luoyang | A Dream of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, A Glance at a Thousand Years

Visiting Luoyang for the second time 🏨 This time I stayed at Weilai Hotel, right next to Jiuzhou Pool. It’s also very close to Tiantang Mingtang. These three attractions are adjacent to each other. The hotel is highly recommended, located between All Seasons Hotel and Libai Hotel, diagonally opposite Kudi Coffee in Unit 5, enter through the first-floor lobby. Just tell the front desk you want to go to the 20th floor Weilai Hotel. I booked it blindly, but the hotel environment was a pleasant surprise—clean, comfortable, quiet, and with floor heating. Booking a suite gives you a direct view of Jiuzhou Pool. ⛩Yingtian Gate, ticket 🎫 58 yuan, worth buying. There is an elevator 🛗 that goes directly up; the building has 6 floors in total. If you don’t want to wait in line for the elevator, you can choose to climb the stairs. The photo spot for the characters "Luoyang" is at the south gate of Yingtian Gate, which is the back of the ticket entrance, under a big tree. 🛕Cross the road from Yingtian Gate to Tiantang Mingtang. These two are in the same scenic area, ticket 🎫 88 yuan. Mingtang has 9 floors, elevator recommended 🛗. Many people want to take the iconic photo of the city tower with Mingtang Tower in the background, but that photo spot is at Jiuzhou Pool, not at these three attractions. I didn’t plan well and missed taking photos at that spot. Luoyang’s night view is still the best, and Hanfu makeup and costumes look really beautiful for photos. Whether you’re sisters, aunts, or grandmothers, I sincerely recommend it—you’ll regret missing it. It’s suggested to take photos at Yingtian Gate or Jiuzhou Pool, and Luoyi Ancient City is also recommended. Tiantang Mingtang is not recommended for photos… Food will be in the next post…
