Mardin old city

Mardin is a very stunning old city, and believe it or not, it’s located only 30km away from the Syrian border! At first, we were concerned about visiting Mardin due to security issues, but we were assured by the Kurdish people in Turkey that it’s very safe. So, off we go by plane from Istanbul, which took around 2 hours. We stayed here for a week and got to see many beautiful buildings here. The people are so nice and warm, and the food here is simply the best!!!
