Nankou Overseas Chinese Village Gongxing Mansion in Meizhou, Guangdong

The Gongxing Mansion in the Overseas Chinese Village was built by the Pan family during the Republic of China period. It is a Hakka enclosed house with two halls, two wings, and a surrounding dragon structure, made of rammed earth and wood, with a hip-and-gable roof. To the left of the house is a fighting door, in front of the house is a rice-drying field and a geomantic pond, and to the right front of the pond is a well. The building covers an area of about 700 square meters. The house has three doors, with the middle door being concave, framed by stone, and the lintel inscribed with the three characters 'Gongxing Mansion'. The exterior walls are inlaid with stone lattice windows, the interior beams are original wood, the decoration is simple, and the back of the house has a raised transformation area paved with cobblestones. The house is currently well-preserved.
