It’s definitely a must-visit destination on your winter travel list❄️ 【Trip Highlights】 ✅ Night aurora watching ✅ Visiting the northernmost village ✅ Experiencing water freezing instantly ✅ Feeling the extreme cold of minus 40 degrees DAY 1: First Encounter with the Aurora City 📍 Beiji Village: The northernmost village in China, filled with "northernmost" signs like the northernmost post office and northernmost café... Be sure to take photos here! The wooden cabins in the village are perfect for check-ins, and when night falls, you can see the stunning aurora. At night, we stayed at a local farmhouse where the owner warmly prepared a big pot of iron pot stew, paired with local specialty blueberry juice, warming both the stomach and the heart~ DAY 2: Visiting the Northernmost Point 📍 Northernmost Point Square: The 138 boundary marker here is a must-visit! Standing in front of the marker and gazing into the distance, you can feel the sacredness of the country’s territory. We also tried the thrilling snowmobile ride, racing through the birch forest—super exciting! In the afternoon, we went to the 📍 Evenki Reindeer Park, where you can feed the little deer by hand; they are so fluffy and adorable. DAY 3: Farewell to Mohe 📍 First Bend of the Heilongjiang River: The winding Heilongjiang River forms a beautiful Ω shape here, making for stunning photos! The last stop was the 📍 Birch Forest, where the snow-covered birch trees in winter combined with the afternoon sunlight make every shot look like a masterpiece. 【Transportation and Accommodation】 🚗 Business vehicle transfers throughout, with the driver very familiar with the road conditions 🏠 Stayed two nights in Beiji Village; the wooden-structured homestay is very distinctive, with plenty of heating, so it’s not cold at all 【Warmth Tips】 ☑️ Be sure to prepare thick down jackets, snow boots, hats, scarves, gloves, and a full set of gear ☑️ Bring warm covers for your phone and camera, as low temperatures can easily cause them to shut down ☑️ Bring plenty of heat packs; you can stick them inside your clothes and under your insoles During the three days in Mohe, we went out every night to wait for the aurora. When we saw the green light dancing in the night sky, we truly felt that the minus 40-degree cold was nothing! This is the winter romance belonging to the northernmost part of China~
